BUBBLE GUM
I remember those days, when they only cost one cent There was Double Bubble or Bazooka but not Trident The flavors were similar, except for Black Cat Imagine licorice-flavored bubble gum, the color of a bat! We would have contests to see how bid we could blow Three inches or twelve inches, you'd never know Sometimes it got stuck in your hair, depending on the size But look out when it glued to your eyes The teachers never let us chew it in school We could not argue, that was the rule There is watermelon, grape, cherry and blue Berry berry, cinnamon, and spearmint, too Sugarless and Nicorette, what a thought! Like I want to chew a cigarrette. NOT!! Enjoy each flavor until a new one comes along But now, perhaps, you'll understand why dentists don't like... BUBBLE GUM
