THE CAROUSEL
She looked at her father, as they entered the gate The anticipation on her face, said she could not wait They stood inline, so they could by a ticket Waiting patiently, as they approached the wicket Slowly they made their way through the park Hoping to get there, before it got dark They finally saw the ride, in the distance, ahead The big grin on her face, made her cheeks red There were a few people, but it would not take long As the music playing, was her favourite song It was their turn, to go on the ride She was so happy, as they were outside There was a stallion and a white mare A reindeer, a kangaroo and even a hare She chose the big, beautiful brown horse Her father chose the train caboose, of course Then all of a sudden the ride started to turn The animals went up and down, as butter would churn The joy on her face, was all that was needed to tell How she loved that ride on...
