COME TO MY WINDOW


As I sit on the ledge of the window, I see so many things
The birds, the bees, flowers, and trees and almost everything
It is the dream that I had, that brought me here today
Reminding me of the times we shared day after day
Remembering the touch of our hands and the warmth all around
When I was sad, you always made me smile, taking away my frown
I feel the wind blowing through the window by me
Sending chills through my body, wondering what I will see
It whispers so softly, how I miss you so much
Wondering in my heart, if and when we will touch
Your words are so dear and close to my heart
Of course I always knew that, right from the start
Why do I miss you, and just seem to let you go
I can't get you out of my mind, I just had to let you know
I know things have changed in so many ways
But I will always remember those very special days
The dreams that we shared and the kisses that we had
All I know is whenever we were together, I was never sad
I know we have seperate lives, but that does not matter
For the thought of losing you will make me even sadder
I love everything about you, and I just wanted you to know
That you will be in my heart forever, so please...
