Easter comes, but once a year
It shows us the meaning , as to why we are here
The Lord gave up his life, to forgive our sins
As the sun rises, a new life begins
As you wake up this morning, and your basket is lined with lace
Just be happy and put a smile on your face
For the Easter bunny came and hid some eggs
You could not see him because he has fast little legs
We call him Peter Rabbit,because he is cute and fuzzy
You may even wonder if he came at all, really now, "WAS HE?"
He is all covered in fur and always hops around
If we continue to eat the chocolate we, will be stuck to the ground
So enjoy your day with your family and also rememeber to pray
For all of those that are less fortunate, unlike us today.
