I look at the water flowing ahead
It is as continuous, as blood is red
We swallow it in our mouths, to keep us alive
Without it, I know, we will never survive
As I reach out my hand, please do not fear
I only do this, so you will know, I am here
Life is like a rollercoaster and even throws us some curves
But if you hang on tight, you will know when to swerve
As the days seem longer and harder to bear
Just know, that I will always be there
When you see a star in the sky, looking down
Please put on a smile, not a frown
Life is what you make of it, bad or good
So keep on smiling, as I know you should
When things are tough and you need to talk
