IF ONLY TIME COULD STAND STILL


If I could have only one wish, I wonder what it would be for
Perhaps I would stop the waves, before they hit the shore
Stop the leaves before they touch the ground
Change that face to a smile from a frown
Maybe I want to be a baby just one more day
Or forget the past and worry about today
I would love to stop the clock and just have one more hour
And stare at the world from the top of a tower
Be a bird and look way down below
As people would look like ants, always on the go
Maybe I want to be a highway full of cars
Or perhaps where all wishes are made from, amongst the stars
My wish would have to be everlasting happiness and goodwill
To all of my family and friends...
