IF WISHES CAME TRUE


We look up at the stars and make a wish
But will they come true, time will decide
Each one may be special
As we believe them inside
We dream and hope from our heart
As the desire increases
The feelings we share become stronger
As the doubt decreases
We just need hope to make us smile
That friend we have will stick around for a while
They will be with us forever and stand by us
It is their love we need as well as their trust
So find a clover or a wishing well
Close your eyes and it will tell
What will happen and what you will do
As I see the star I often wonder...
