We meet each other in so many ways
It does not matter, what time of day
It may be in a chat room or even in a game
Some even like to hide behind a name
They may create a new one, just to hide
But their personality is always inside
Through the screen, the bonds begin
Then the feelings start within
We wait for each other to then log on
The sorrow starts when the other is gone
We want to reach out and be there for them
Perhaps, just so the heart can mend
The love we may feel, can really be true
But some reach out and know just what to do
The closer we get, the stronger the bond
As we chat or play, the night quickly is gone
The bags under our eyes begin to grow
Insomnia takes over, as we all know
But no matter what, we stay to the end
