IS IT NOT ONLY A GAME?

Why do I come here?  Why do I stay?
For some reason it happens, day after day.
There are so many people, some good and some bad.
They bring tears at times, some happy and some sad.
We need each other at times it seems
We play together, against or as a team
We help each other in our time of need
But it is the ratings, that continue to lead
We fight for a book, a bag or a set
Just try to remember, we are all friends, and this is where we met
It is just a DAM game, colour should not matter
If you are so caught up on height, climb a DAM ladder
Purple, Yellow, Green, Orange or Red
You should be welcome at any table, "Enough Said!!"
Just remember where you started, you were a PROV once too
Although you have many names, your personality will follow you
Don`t hurt those around you, it is only a game
Win or lose, just have fun, it will be the same
Stop fighting and cursing and put a smile on your face
YES, I know I am new here, but it can be a better place
RATINGS mean nothing to me, as my record shows
Just come down a few notches, and stop snubbing your nose
I will now go and say no more
Just know at my table there is also a welcome mat, just like my door
