KEEPER OF THE STARS
As the years pass on we see the light
As the days go by so do the nights
We search for our soul deep inside
As we have felt the pain we also cried
We have reflected over the past
We always hoped the fond memories would last
Sometimes those memories tend to fade
As they were shared with the friends we made
Each of them were special in some way
They made us smile every day
We shared some laughs and some tears
Talked about our hopes and our fears
Leaned on one another as a friend
Treasuring each minute we'd ever spent
Hoping for a hug or perhaps a friendly kiss
Knowing when we're gone what we'll miss
Each and every thought and even each prayer
Wishing that the other would always be there
When you look up into the stars try to see me
