LONELINESS


I often wonder where my life is going
As I sit here lonely, it is the fear of not knowing
I can't help asking myself what to do
But one thing I know is, I truly love you
I miss you at times, it is hard to describe
I even often wonder why am I still alive
Although our lives are different in so many ways
I never stop thinking of you day after day
The time we spend together, is so special to me
I want you by my side, please never leave
Where will we be tomorrow or the day after that
When I hear your voice, it is like the purr of a cat
Your sensitivity is beyond words at times
Your voice is as soft as the sound of a wind chime
When I feel the loneliness that I have inside
I look at your picture and gaze into your eyes
They reach out to me and tell me you are near
It is as if it is your heartbeat that I hear
I will thank you now for removing the loneliness that I felt
Each moment we have shared has made me melt
Thank you for being here, my special friend
Just know that we will be together to the very end
