MILLENIUM

It is the year a lot had feared
PC users may have even shed a tear
Looking back now, what was the worry?
Was is anticipation or just the hurry?
Ages ago the years passed fine
But for some reason, 2000 boggles my mind
Over the centuries the inventions were real
The radio, the telephone, the car; it was appeal
We did not fear what layed ahead
Nor was there a year that we truly dread
Of course looking back there would be changes
The wars, the holocaust, we would have rearranged
But this is our future, a positive look
The new beginning of our life, a book
So open the cover and look inside
You'll put the past behind you and never again hide
From this day forward, your future will be a bright one
Enjoy your life and treasure the new...
MILLENIUM
