PLEASE BELIEVE
I stand here reflecting all about my life
Knowing that no matter what, there will be yet another strife
I am not sure what the future will hold
But I know in my heart I must remain bold
For the Lord only knows that I will control my own destiny
If I live my life day by day, it will be the best for me
As I wake up each day, I start it with a smile
For I know I will be around for quite a while
I ask you, my frined, to stand by my side
Because at times it may be a difficult ride
So now, in closing, I ask you one thing more
