THE CANDLE IS LIT
I think we met in another lifetime, it's a feeling I get
When I look out my window, all I see is the sunset
It reminds me of the glow in that heart of yours
Or perhaps in the twinkle of all the stars
So I tried to think of what I could do to bring you back to me
Should I go to the forest and climb the highest tree?
Or perhaps to the highest mountain and climb the top of the peak
Scream from the depths of my lungs, the name of the one I seek
But the echo would carry for lifetimes away
Perhaps I will remain where I am and just stay
I think I found the solution to bring you to me
It sits right in front of me and now I see
I will now lite the wick with the match from the pack
As I light this candle, my heart will bring you back
The glow will linger on forever and ever
When you see the light, it will bring us back together
I will now gaze into the starlit sky as I now sit
