I often wonder what lies ahead
Is there a better place, for us instead?
We take life, one step at a time, right?
But truthfully, is there an end in sight?
We hope each day is taken in stride
As we accomplish each goal inside
But as the days pass, we may have regrets
We must look forward, the past we try to forget
The future lies ahead with our dreams, too
Accepting each challenge as a new
We must have faith, and just believe
With that desire, happiness, we will receive
