THE WATERFALL
The wind blew me off the twig from the tree I once belonged The distance to the ground seemed so long I landed on a rock, yet ever so gently A breeze came by as soft as can be It made me flutter, into the babbling brook The current moved me onward, as the OTTER looked The rapids ahead gently caused a quiver As the chill in the air caused a shiver The rocks ahead caused a sharp turn The slapping of the beaver tail was a warning, I learned The whitewater raft created a stir As I moved quicker, it became a blur Up in the distance I saw a familiar face There was the grizzly bear, in its favorite place Out of the sun it was having a shower As my journey ended, it seemed like hours Before I stopped, I watched that bear stand so tall As it cooled itself under... THE WATERFALL
