It seems like a minute ago that we talked last
When I turned around, is it your shadow that's cast?
I feel that you are beside me at all times
I can't seem to get you off of my mind
Is it your smile, your personality or laugh?
Or perhaps your picture that I keep looking at
Your eyes seem to stare and shine so deep
Reminding me of a saphire that I would keep
The warmth of your heart can be felt so close
Next to my heart where I want it most
Though I ask myself, "How did I get so lucky to have you?"
You have brightened my life in what you say and do
