About the Webmaster
I was born on October 3, 1973 in Decatur, Georgia. I grew up in Stone Mountain, GA which is just east of Atlanta.
I went to Stone Mountain High School and graduated in 1992. After high school I went to Valdosta State University for about two years majoring in music education. My instrument is clarinet.
After I left school, I tried working here and there. I worked for Stone Mountain Park for a while until I decided to join the United States Navy in 1996.
On November 26, 1996, I reported to the Recruit Training Center in Great Lakes, IL. I spent about nine weeks there preparing myself to be a United States Sailor. I graduated Basic Training in January 1997.
I reported to Hospital Corpsman "A" School located in San Diego, CA. I spent 14 weeks learning the basics of my new job. During those 14 weeks, I found a wonderful place called the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. I looked forward to Sundays at the Cathedral where I got to talk to wonderful people. I made some very, very good friends there. I graduated Corps School with honors in May of 1997.
After some leave, I reported to Third Force Service Support Group in Okinawa, Japan in August of 1997. I spent two years there working with the Marine Corps (sometimes we Corpsman get stationed with Marines. Someone has make them go see the doc when they find it hard to breathe).
After Okinawa, I was happy to take orders back to San Diego where I am currently stationed at Naval Medical Center, San Diego. I am the Head Thurifer at the Cathedral and attend almost every Sunday.
I have held different positions at St. Paul's Cathedral. I started as an acolyte and thurifer. I moved to being Head Acolyte, then Head Thurifer. I currently hold the position of Head Thurifer and I am also a Verger.
My love for music has always been a part of me, but I can safely say, my love for Anglican church music was found at St. Paul's. I hope you enjoy the music I have posted on this site. It is my joy to share the music of the church and my original compositions with you.
