Vector Cosine 9er
We jumped in again in our jump suits
The plane takes off as we move to the north
The plane’s taking off and we’re in our jump suits
Just like I said before, the plane’s taking off now
The plane’s taking off now
We’re in our jump suits heading away now
The jets taking off to where’er the pilot takes us
Now it’s taking off flying the route
It’s taking the vector, the cosine 9er
It’s taking the vector, the cosine 9er
We’re back there, where we took off
It’s at Chicago, the airport where we left
You know I’m seeing something in my mind, reminds me of you
Seeing you sitting there
The vector cosine 9ers the signal
When I tell you that make sure you come up to him there
You come up and give him the package that contains what we discussed the other day, dear
It’s moving forth, just like you said there
It’s moving forth, just like you said there
Did you know we put out the plans
The vector cosine 9er said out there in our lives
Pomegranate Love
I said I’m stepping out onto the beach beside the coconut trees, smiling at me
You’re standing there in that chair, just like I was the day that I first met you
Outside I stepped out beside you, sitting right there beside the kids playing ball in underwear
Because they could not afford it, the trip we were on
Because we come from a place where we expect to get all
We walk down the alley, over mid-town where the kids playing there, that’s where they live
We see their mom and dad, they don’t have too much, but all they’ve got is pomegranates
As we stood watching them eat I realized they’ve got pomegranate love
Leaving by plane, talking ‘bout it, the trip we went on this week, seeing pomegranate love
Walking in the plane, I think to myself, what are we gonna do, baby, pomegranate love
The Vibe is There (Striking Gold)
Walking around this side of there I see we’re moving around holding the day in
We walk in inside of there and where we go, nobody knows
The vibe is there, inside, the vibe is there, inside
I said the vibe is there we’re striking gold cause the vibe is there who you wanna know?
Walking out to the store we’re pickin’ up some juice for our mouths because it’s getting warm the vibe is there
The vibe is there right next door
The vibe is there, do you wanna come, I said the vibe is there
Night Time’s the Right Time
One hundred miles left of here we walk to the north to see what is there
As we walk we talk about the things on our minds we care about
Walking along right next to there a tiger attacks a man and a bear
Why is this the way it seems the daytime holds many a travesty
Well I said night time’s the right time
Well I said...
Moving forth
The snow beneath my feet is so cold, reminds me of the hearts of many a soul
Why is there so much snow in our hearts
When times such as this reminding of peace on earth
And I said girl, night time’s the right time
I said girl, night time’s the right time
We talk of the things that come to our minds
Well girl, ya
Night time’s the right time
Introspective Perspective
Last night I was thinking about the times that we had but were not yet here
You see, they got me thinking about those things that people often think of
The things that were coming later, in a mid-life crisis
You see, my mind got thinking about mid-life crises and such things as that
I mean, what is a mid-life crisis anyway?
Mid-life crisis often happen to come at, a time of say 50 years old
A 50-year-old man goes out, buys himself a motorcycle
And all of a sudden he’s having a mid-life crisis. They tell this man:
You’re having a mid-life crisis on your hands now, how do you deal with that
I said you’re, you’re having a mid-life crisis
It’s on your hands, why don’t you straighten out?
You see, what these people forget, is that at 50 years old, often your kids have moved on
Your house is paid for, all the rent
In other words, your costs have gone down, you know they’re not there anymore
So what I’m saying is, now’s when you can afford the motorcycle
You’re not having a mid-life crisis, you can just now buy what you want
You see, I am here, 20 years old, I’ve got the crisis, I can’t buy what I want
So at the end my story, what I’m really saying here is that we need to get rid of this mid-life crisis talk
You see, cause at whatever stage you’re what, whatever kids you’ve got,
Whatever money you got, at the end of the day it’s not even yours
So how are you using that which you’ve been given?
How are you using that which God has granted you for today?
Whether that be money, whether that be something else, are you giving it all up to Him?
You’re not having a mid-life crisis, maybe you’ve forgot what you’re here for?
Get in the word, or either way just be here at this talk we had today
Crazy Man’s Talk
What’s over there, how many times, do you understand what’s over there?
What’s in that picture, how many times I ask you this?
Talked in the box, what’s in mind, how many times do you say that?
Why do you play like that, tired of being so irrelevant?
Laughin’ around, what’s going on? I can’t see what’s there, so why do you say that?
I don’t understand. What’s goin’ on here? Why are you saying that? Or was it all just a show?
C’mon now, just be yourself, why you gotta impress us? We know you anyway
Kinesthetic Chaos
You come out beside green fields I see you standing there beside a sidewalk up there
As we move along my mind turns to mush because I never thought you said you’d do that
Moving forth with my sound in my ears, we discuss the things that go on here
You’re kinesthetically speaking to me and I discuss what is running away
I think about something here that goes on and on right out there
Kinesthetic chaos is driving my mind wild today
I don’t see how far it goes today, but you know it’s gonna be here
How many times do you talk to me, discussing things that mean to you
How many times, I sing this song?
It’s driving me wild, so girl, let’s move on.
The Highway’s My Home
Call me, don’t follow me, as I move now, do you groove now
I see you standing there, do you talk to me, but do you say that, do you call me your baby?
Don’t tell, don’t tell, just don’t tell it, don’t tell, I said I don’t know what’s going?
As you move now, do you groove now
While you’re standing there, don’t talk to me, you’re old now
Slippin’ Away
I’m moving out beside the stairs, I’m seein’ you walkin’ away
As I move along you to talk to me and tell me she is the one, but then I do not know
Don’t tell me she’s slippin’ away when you know she’s sliding over
I said...
Yesterday you talked to me and told me to go right for her
As you said that you went away. You went out waiting and you walked with her
And I said, don’t tell me she’s slippin’ away when you know she’s sliding over
I said...
We walked outside and wanted to discuss the things on our mind that did not make sense
But as we talked you made it quite clear that you had something in mind that you didn’t tell me
And I said, don’t tell me she’s slippin’ away when you she’s sliding over
I said...
Seagull Rhyme
Seagulls always find time to make it to the next meal
A million pounds of pictures , or if it shines right through you
I don’t like eating spiders, but sometimes that’s all you’ve got
Cats can go here, it drinks themselves right through there
Catch...
I can’t believe this, I can’t believe, ya ya
Why do you talk like that, please, please just believe, ya
Why do you believe like that, I don’t know what you’re saying
Why do you talk like that, please, please just believe, ya
Running for the finish line, you know you’ll never see me
Back boy signed the life away, drowned but never you’ll be hot fries
Torque the driver to the left, then leave it back there on the desk
Please, please, George didn’t make it, then wrap the road away for good
I can’t believe it, I can’t believe, ya ya
Why do you talk like that, please, please, just believe
I can’t believe, I can’t believe, ya ya. Why do you talk like that?
Please, please just believe, please, please just believe, please, please just believe
There goes Ruby on the phone, I can’t hear what she’s saying
But I know that I’ll never talk to you on my phone
That’s not the place
Ya, ya, ya, ya, Go, go, go, ya, ya, ya
I can’t believe it, I can’t believe ya, ya
Why do you talk like that?
Please, please just believe
I can’t believe this, I can’t believe, ya, ya
Why do you talk like this?
Please, please just believe
Please, please just believe, believe, believe, believe
Dormitory Distractions
Looking out my window, what do I see?
You are there looking at me
These hands looking outside, who are you and where are you from?
Last night you went out for a ride
Talking about things in our minds, what went on there that night?
Not much, that’s what it seemed, because today we talked again
You didn’t go out with us, you just had nothing there
What do you mean?
How does that mean no, I don’t think I am much sense
Cryptic Questions
Paddling along, out through the river, heading north right where we went
Next to there we see the crocodiles swimming,
I wonder where they’re headed today
Not with us, that’s for certain
Where we’re headed, they don’t want to come
We keep on paddling, northward to right there
That’s where the land of the cryptic questions comes
As we enter right through the forest, I see it moving, but not quite at that pace
The hot cloud’s getting heavier by the movement,
and you just sit there waiting for those cryptic questions
Moss is covering the trees where we head for
And they’re not moving- the air is stagnant
It’s not moving, but your lips, they’re moving
They question me with those cryptic questions
You question me with those cryptic questions
We’re discussing questions you ask me
And as we’re talking I ask you, do you remember
How did we get here, what was going through your mind
Why did you come this far if you’re asking cryptic questions now?
Why did you come so far that you’ve gotta ask cryptic questions now?
Blue-Collar Banquet
The sun turns colour, it almost looks blue
Or maybe it’s the weather that makes me look at you
I’m not seein’ the reasons that you give me
And baby I ask you, why are they coming now, before a blue-collar banquet?
You’re driving forth with the game that knows no end
The wind it blows, and it’s rustling your hair now
Girl, I see that fear in your eyes now
As if you don’t know me, so what did you call that?
I don’t understand the way that you’re talking
You don’t have a clue how much it hurts me today
It hurts me today right before the blue-collar banquet
The tea party’s starting with you at the helm
You’re running the controls as if that’s all you’ve got now
But as we get out of this car I keep thinking
Why do you think you need to control the party
When all we’ve got coming’s a blue-collar banquet
It’s just a blue-collar banquet now
We get to the party with nothing about that
We discuss the race just like you don’t know what’s going next
As you talk I watch the way you interact with people you’ve never met
You want me to guess, why do you do that?
You’ve seem to forgot now it’s not your tea party
It’s a blue-collared banquet, a blue-collar banquet
Sheer Geniosity
Walking in the door I see your face, I don’t know what’s going outside
But as I walk inside I see your face, It shines so bright like the moonlight now
Walking inside I sit right down, I sit on the piano bench right (in front) of you
With the night shining out I don’t know why, It just digs a hole in my face today
Standing outside I see you there, I walk right up in my hat on
And as we talk about the things that comes to mind I just stand still
The fire it burns, it burns so long, the burning there just keeps going on
And as it burns we talk today, it makes me think of the grey hairs outside
And I...
We talk along and the other day we went out for coffee and we talked all night long
But as we did it came to mind, next week I’m leaving, it’s sheer geniosity
Sheer genius
Genius today...
Why do you stand and talk to me, the day goes on but the night’s coming soon
And as we talk it makes me think, why did this happen right now today?
Green Skies, Blue Beaches
Just last week we talked about everything
We didn’t have much back then, but what we had was there
Sitting down we talked about it, long December just went by
As we talked about the year we decided that it was no longer was the same
Just this year we moved away and now we think about the times
We had so much fun, out there you know it was
When we’re right there with the friends you know we had
Talking ‘bout good times, blue skies, no no
Good times, ya, blue skies, no, green skies and blue beaches
Sitting there, talking ‘bout friends long gone, you know they’re not
Sitting there, talking there, blue skies, don’t seem right
But that’s all we’ve got now, with the jobs gone away to school
Where’s the days, what happened to them, sitting there on the sandy beach
Playing volleyball, swimming in the beach, you know it was fun
Now they’re gone, not there and green skies, blue beaches gone
Talking ‘bout it, long gone, these times are so short these days
Think about careless days, eating hot dogs in your car
Didn’t think about much, but when we did it was real fun
Volleyball, sandy beaches, green skies and blue beaches
Green skies, green skies, blue beaches, where’d they go now?
Back then your jeep was filled with people like us
These days they aren’t like that, it’s just who’ere’s around
But they don’t like things we like, like green skies, blue beaches
They’re more for intellectual things that we don’t like
Where did those days go now, green skies, blue beaches, ya
The were so fun, I think I like them, thank you day
