- 3/4 CUP
- 2
- 1/2 TSP.

- 3 TBL.
- 1 TSP.
- 2 1/2 CUPS
- 2 CUPS
- 3 CUPS
- 3 CUPS
- 4 CUPS
- 1/2 TSP.
CAKE DIRECTIONS:
1. CREAM BROWN SUGAR AND SHORTENING.
2. ADD EGGS; THEN ADD SALT, CINNAMON AND BAKING POWDER.
3. ADD SODA DISSOLVED IN HOT WATER. GRADUALLY ADD FLOUR AND OATMEAL.
4. MIX WELL.
5. SCOOP BATTER ONTO A GREASED BAKING SHEET.
6. BAKE AT 350º FOR 10 - 12 MINUTES.
FILLING DIRECTIONS:
1. BEAT INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.
2. ASSEMBLE WHOOPEE PIES BY SANDWICHING A SCOOP OF FILLING BETWEEN TWO CAKES.
