RECIPE: ORIENTAL FRIED RICE

INGREDIENTS:

MARGARINE, MELTED
WHITE RICE
TOMATO JUICE
SOY SAUCE
CHICKEN BASE
WATER
SALT
PARSLEY FLAKES

MEASURE:

5 CUPS
1 1/2 GAL.
3 CANS (46 OZ. EACH)
3 CUPS
1/2 LB.
5 QTS.
1 1/2 TBL.
3 CUPS

 

 

DIRECTIONS:

1. POUR MELTED MARGARINE IN ROASTING PAN, HEAT ON STOVE UNTIL HOT. SAUTE RICE, STIRRING FREQUENTLY, UNTIL RICE IS BROWNED AND ALMOST ALL OF MARGARINE IS ABSORBED.

2. STIRRING CONSTANTLY, ADD TOMATO JUICE, SOY SAUCE, CHICKEN BASE, WATER, AND SALT.

3. COVER ROASTING PAN WITH FOIL AND BAKE AT 300º UNTIL RICE IS COOKED AND LIQUID IS ABSORBED.
