1. CREAM SHORTENING WITH SUGAR.

2. ADD EGGS, MILK AND VANILLA.

3. BEAT UNTIL SMOOTH.

4. SIFT DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER AND ADD TO SHORTENING MIXTURE.

5. SCOOP BATTER ONTO A GREASED BAKING SHEET.

6. BAKE AT 425º FOR 7 MINUTES.

1. BEAT INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.

2. ASSEMBLE WHOOPIE PIES BY SANDWICHING A SCOOP OF FILLING BETWEEN TWO CAKES.
