Master Henry Chung Yin-Yang

Master Henry Chung Sifu Henry Chung comes from a long line of martial artists. His father, Ho Yin Chung, was the Grandmaster of Seven Star Praying Mantis and was a disciple of Great Grandmaster Wong Hon Fun.

Sifu Chung began his martial arts training in Hong Kong at the age of four.

His father taught him Seven Star Praying Mantis, Eagle Claw, Wu style Tai Chi and Qui Gong. He began teaching when he was sixteen at the local YMCA in Hong Kong with his primary focus being Seven Star Praying Mantis.

In 1979, Sifu Chung moved to Antigonish Nova Scotia where he taught while attending college. In 1983, he moved to the United States where he continues to teach and promote Seven Star Praying Mantis Kung Fu.

Besides teaching Kung Fu full-time in Midland Michigan, he is also a psychotherapist at Northwood University and practices acupuncture at Auburn Medical Clinic. Sifu Chung is also teaching his children the Seven Star system and continuing the tradition of the Chung family of martial artists.
