 | | Here is our 1971 Chevelle SS. This was my first car, but now my 18 year old brother
gets his turn with it.
- Updates: We pulled the motor and trans again. The cam went flat and sent
metal throught the motor. We sent the block out to get dipped and bored .030
over. New slugs, rings, and a re-freshened valve job were put to the motor. The
trans had 100 Grand on it so it got a full rebuild too. The converter is way too
loose for the motor so we will have to drop a new one it over the next few
months.

Details-
The Car is Stock other than the Rim's. The motor is a
rebuilt 350/350 trans. Original everything including AC. Black interior,
bucket seats, and the original SS dash with no cuts or mods to it. The rims
are 16x8 Polished Americans with BFG Skins. We recently tried our hand at body
work and paint in our back shop. Our body work skills are great (Had practice
with other cars, mainly the 64) but it took three times to lay the paint on
right. I don't know if it was the PPG stuff or us. Probably us. But hey, yea
live yea learn. It turned out okay after wetsanding it. It still is a little
light on the paint on some parts, but not bad for back yard paint
job.
