Biography:
The Last Stand started in February of 2001. Day Light Gone was a band containing future Last Stand members Danny Wheeler, and David Keltonic. Also in the band were members Jordan Maroon, and David Farris. However, after the lead singer David Farris quit, Day Light Gone was left without vocals. Following this, their drummer Jordan broke his finger, which left the band in a stalemate. The remaining members however, still wanted to go on as a band, by continuing with Jordan on vocals instead of drums. They soon found a new drummer, Josh Ketts. After this lineup change the band also thought it'd be in their best interest to change the band name as well, thus forming The Last Stand, which included David on guitar, Danny on bass and back up vocals, Josh on drums and Jordan doing lead vocals. The newly formed band started practicing in February 01' and decided on creating all new songs. However, after 6 months, the band and singer Jordan Maroon went their seperate ways, thus making the band a 3 piece as of early September. The line-up now consisted of Danny on vocals as well as bass, David on guitar, and Josh on drums. They recorded their first ep/demo in october and released it 2 months later. In late december, josh found out that he would be moving back to california. This put in the band in a crunch for several weeks, until Harrison Jones stepped up to replace josh on drums. This is the current line-up, and will hopefully remain this way for months to come.
