Darwin’s Mixsomja

Darwin left out a breed that hunts along side the tiger, lion, jaguar and shark in his discussions of survival. What could this breed be? It is of the human clan, yet few would call it human. It is called the MIXSOMJA.

The Mixsomja is the male potential serial killer, under forty years old, in possession of an above average level of intelligence. The Mixsomja is usually void of all stimulation. Emotionally, the Mixsomja usually feels a complete numbness combined with hatred. To the outside world, he lives a normal life, but the life he enjoys most is the life he lives in his fantasies. This is the only place where his rage may be set free.

The Mixsomja have been called cowards for stalking under the cover of darkness, preying on the young, weak and helpless. Is this a weakness or a strength? If the victim selection of the Mixsomja promote its survival, if it allows him to breed, grow, prosper, and acquire wealth, then the question will be left up to you if the Mixsomja is weak or strong. In Africa, the weak animals are killed so the strong can survive. In the words of a Mixsomja, "Why hunt the bear when there are more than enough deer."

The Mixsomja is the man that is president of the company that you work for, the chief of staff at the hospital where you mother gave birth to you, or the senator of the state where you live. What I am trying to say is that the Mixsomja will not be found in prison, he is the killer that remains free, or the potential killer that has not suffered internally enough to kill. Although the Mixsomja’s have been caught in the past, a pure Mixsomjian soul is almost impossible to catch. Also, the older the Mixsomja, less likely it is that he will be found. The Mixsomja have been around for thousand of years, but are only being recognized as Mixsomjas by scholars today.

The Mixsomja literally feels nothing when he kills. The object that was destroyed was nothing more than that, an object. It sometimes frustrates him to the point of anger how he cannot feel anything inside when he is hurting someone. He attempts to think about his victim-object over and over again. There is no sadness, and begins to search for cognitive ways to put these thoughts to use. The Mixsomja sometimes tries to cry about what happened. He envisions others who would feel emotion and tries, without success, to empathize.

When there is no sort of attachment to people, then the only thing that is felt is the fear of getting caught, which is a very large fear for the Mixsomja.

The only person that the Mixsomja can empathize with is himself. He can envision himself in a prison cell, and he can imagine how lonely that would be for him. That is enough to keep many Mixsomja’s at bay. They will always be potential killers, they will always treat and look at others differently, but have the self-control combined with comfortable life circumstances (i.e., everything is going well, minimal stress, very few "triggers," possibly involved in a narcissistic or selfish relationship).

"Why does everyone else make such a big deal about other people and hurting them?" the Mixsomja wonders. The Mixsomja has complete confusion how to act sometimes in social situations when another is hurt or in distress. Not wanting to over-act, yet feeling nothing for the person in distress. He is more concerned with the dilemma of wondering how to act. Obviously, because of some of these facts, the killer would seem extremely selfish. The question is for the Mixsomja, "What are you supposed to do if you are a person who gets aroused by hurting others, understands that they feel pain, but nonetheless see them as objects anyway? What do you do?" The Mixsomja knows that he must turn inward, and be forced to repress his desires and let the fantasy aspect of the behavior roam free.

The Mixsomja knows he is helpless in letting his fantasies grow, becoming more specific, more detailed, and more sadistic. The Mixsomja does have undeveloped feelings though, and he can empathize. He can see others as people, but each is different in that regard. One Mixsomja may have many members in his family that he would weep like a baby if they were to be hurt, yet another might grow attached to only a single person, or a single type of person like old women or young children. The point is, the Mixsomja is very selective, and probably not consciously, of who or what he grows attached. Whereas a normal person would show feeling and remorse to the hurt or pain of even strangers, the Mixsomja’s only wish is that he was the one responsible for the infliction of that pain.

The Mixsomja can cry though, and they can be "broken down," using unethical techniques which I highly recommend. A Mixsomja can be taught to see a particular individual, who he sees as an object, as a person. There are certain things that can trigger aggression or a sexual frenzy in a Mixsomja, just as there are certain triggers that will elicit kind, soft, and gentle behaviors as well. There will usually be some lost dream or goals that were never achieved by this individual.

The Mixsomja can and will be dormant for very long periods of time. When he decides it is time to have "normal sex" with a woman, he knowingly puts himself in the position of letting out the monster. He looks and looks and looks for that special love object, getting very excited and aroused at the same time with the thought of actually finding her. The Mixsomja is always searching for the woman he will spend his life with. There is a situation that society must contend with: will the Mixsomja find a woman before he kills, or will he start the killing in place of this relationship.

The Mixsomja is capable of getting married and having a semi-healthy relationship. A married Mixsomja will become a white collar sociopath using his abilities and rage to those situations in business and industry. The Mixsomja who does not marry is the one in which society must truly fear. For as odd as this may seem, only love can slay the Mixsomja.
