Rules | Questions | Links
The rules of certamen are very simple. There are three rounds with ten questions each. These questions are worth 10 points each and each have two bonuses, worth 5 points each, that can be answered only by the team that correctly answers the question. If a team misses the first bonus, they still have an oppurtunity to answer the second. The teams must have a captain, the only one who can give the answer for the bonuses, and can not confer with one another during the game except on the afforementioned bonuses. If a player buzzes in while you are reading a question, you must stop reading it for them, and can reread it if the team has incorrectly answered that question. You have 10 seconds to wait for a player to answer a tossup and 15 seconds for a bonus. Good luck!
