In a parrallel of U2's philanthropic support of Jubilee 2000, a non-profit organisation campaigning for the annulment of third world-debt, Dublin rocksters 'Whos Eddie?' have dedicated the proceeds from their upcoming single 'Song for Money' to charities aiding Bono. Band manager Ron 'Irish' Ishmael attributes the generosity of the Northsides answer to bad music from the Southside to a freak viewing of U2's evocative movie - 'Rattle & Hum'.

"The guy's were watching Rattle and Hum at an industry cheese and cracker buffet" explains 'Kentucky' Ron , "when the Edge appeared in that cowboy hat". "Marty (lead singer) went into a crouch, there and then, and said "that's it guys, someone has to end the suffering"

" Song for Money" goes on sale in all branches of Guineys and Boyers after lunch on Monday or Tuesday next week.
