Chapter Eleven

I was walking around the lab, getting used to my unfamiliar body. I finally decided I had to breathe some fresh air again. I walked outside, and realized my human eyes saw the sun's light better than my robotic ones. Everything was so bright. I wandered around a bit, looking around. I saw a small pink figure coming from the horizon. I wondered what it was, so I ran to it. As I got closer, I noticed it was a robot. The robot was clutching its left arm and was walking slowly toward the lab. I couldn't see its face, but I ran up to it anyway.

The robot stopped, and looked up at me, "Cloud. I, I'm free. I fought and got pretty beat up, but I'm free....." It was Aeris. She fell to the ground, passing out.

"Aeris...." I tried to pick her up, but my human strength couldn't pick up a robot. I ran back to the lab, yelling for help, "Locke! Dr. Aries! Come quick! I need your help!"

Minutes later we had Aeris in the lab, "Yes," said Dr. Aries, "she seems to be herself again. Our problem now will be keeping her alive."

I waited a long time as Dr. Aries worked fast to repair her. I was outside walking around, keeping guard in case Sypher came. The problem about that was I was helpless as a human againt and army of robots. Many things all at once were rushing through my mind. Aeris was back, and she was herself again. It was something I had waited for for a long time. However, I had that same bad feeling I had on that first night. The feeling something bad was going to happen..........

Just as I thought about what it might mean, I found out. Out of the clouds appeared Sypher and some new robot.

"I feel her presence here! L, you were right, she did come here. We will destroy the lab and kill Aeris all at once. The traitor!"

"Yes, sire. Wait, the boy down there. The human, he's that robot we've had so much trouble with. How did he.....? Anyways, I've got to chat with him." the robot flew down and landed in front of me, "hello! You may know me as your evil Aeris. My name's really L, and I think I never really introduced myself. So sorry, but I must be going. You know, I have to destroy this lab, and kill that girl you like. Hehehe."

"What?!" I lifted my arm as if to fire a gun, then I realized I didn't have it anymore, "shoot, of all the times to wish to be a robot."

"Lost without your metallicness, are you?" she laughed, and busted te door down. I ran after her, cloaking myself with a cloaking device Dr. Aries had given me in case of emergency. I ran ahead of her to the main part of the lab. I had some time, cause L didn't know her way around the lab, plus we had security doors.

"Dr. Aries, Sypher is here!"

Dr. Aries lifted his head, "I know." He pointed up, revealing the fact that Sypher was fighting Locke.

"W-where's Aeris?!"

"She's trying to excape in teh basement. You'd best go wiht her. Here take this. It's a rapid fire G-gun. At least that's what Locke said."

"Thanks." I ran down the basement, clutching the gun hard. Once I got ot the bottom, Aeris was hitting the wall, "what're you doing?"

"Dr. Aries said there was a secret panel somewhere around here.....I can't find it. I'm trying to bust the ewall open in case oyu wanna know."

I walked up to the door, "here, allow me." I was about to open the door when something shot the wall besuide me.

"I DON'T think so." It was L.

"You!" screamed Aeris, stagggering back.

"Not happy ot see me? I thought we were such good friends."

"Oh well. I'll just kill you girlfriend." L said, raising her arm.

"What?! I don't think so. I just got her bakc, and I'm nopt losin her agian!" I shot my gun, hitting L several times. But this gun was no where near as strong as my gun would've been ha dI been Robot.

L smiled,"Say good bye, ya idiot." she shot her gun. I could do nothing. I was a mere human, having no power at all. I watched the laser fly through the air. Aeris's eyes were wide open, she was scared. But what could I do then?! I watched........I watched...........I watched...............The laser slammed Aeris in the chest. In a short few seconds, I watched scrap metal fly everywhere.

"AERIS!!!!!!!!!!!" I yelled, in complete panic, "NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I ran to the small part that was left of her. Her head. Event that was pretty beat up. I could tell she was fading fast, "I've got to.....I've got to get you to Dr. Aries. He can...he can.....he can fix you......."

"No........not this time.........Cloud, before you go. Please. One last time, so I cna hear it. TEll me.....tell me that oyu love me."

"No, don't go, Aeris. You'll live!"

"Cloud! I'm almost ogne now. Just tell me one more itme."

"Okay," I siad. I took in my breathe. Saying the last words she'd ever hear............

Chapter Twelve

I was walking upstairs holding the small part that was left of Aeris. Sypher had cleared out, I think Dr. Aries did something to the robotic systems of him and L. When I got to the top of the stairs, the lab, was totally gone. I was lucky the basement had even survived.

Locke landed in front of me, "that.......is that.......?" he asked staring at the small piece of metal in my arms.

I nodded my head, with tears making my sight blurry.

"She.........she loved you Cloud. "

"I know." I walked over to a table, a table that had the top blown out of it. I picked up a board and set it down, then placed Aeris there. Walking over to a patch of grass, I sat down.

"Well, I hope everyone made it!" yelled Dr. Aries runnning back over to us, "I set an electronic virus set to kill Sypher, he realized this and ran. I didn't get him though. Hey, Cloud, what's wrong?"

I sat there, staring at the ground.

"Leave him alone doc. Look" Locke pointed to the table.

"Oh my.........Is that really her....... Sypher, he's a monster. He'll even kill his own daughter........."

At those words my head popped up, "What did you say?"

"Sypher, he just killed his daughter."

"Aeris.............she was his daughter?"

"Why yes, you didn't know that? I did some research a month ago. Coulda sworn I told you. Well, Sypher captured her becuase she didn't know him. He was scared that she might not remember him. He just wanted to be near her. So he got one of his followers, L, to take a robotic body with Aeris's mind. Two people in one body. He never expected her to show that much resistence." Said Dr. Aries, looking at what was left of Aeris.

"So, that's what happenned to her 'dead' father. How could he do such an evil thing? How could he?! That idiot! I'm gonna beat him up so bad he won't be able to think when I'm through wiht him. He'll be burning in the flaming pits of......"

"Cloud! Calm yourself," yelled Locke.

"Locke, how do I calm myself when my only reason in life was just destroyed?! I'm gonna rip that idiot apart! He'll die. I will have me revenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I got up, and ran to the body that would be fixed as my robotic body agian, "hurry up and fix this, Sypher's goin down."

"Sypher will die. He can't win. No, not with what he's done to me!"

"Cloud, we have to get to him first before we can even attempt to kill him," said Locke.

"Ya know, I don't care what I have to do to get up there, but I'm gonna kill him! He's goin down!!!!!!!!!!" As I yelled about how I was going to get Sypher, my anger built up to its max. Something strange, and something I'll never explain happenned then. The arms, of the robot clamped onto my arms. The legs, they connected to my legs. The helmet became my helmet. The robotic body was somehow linked to my thoughts and without turning me into a robot, I was becoming the "Blazing X Knight." The sword was the last thing to come, it appeared in my hand. MY human hand. I was a human, but yet with my robot powers. It was miraculous.

Dr. Aries walked up to me, with a puzzled look, "amazing. I never predicted the body could still have an effect on your brain even when not attached. I may not have to turn you into a robot. You can just wear the armor that it......created for you. But it's not possible for something not even alive to create something not even in design. Not programmed by anything. It makes no sense."

I love you Cloud, and even if I'm gone, I'll always be with you. I leave you this suit. Call upon it in your mind by thinking of that poem. That poem where I come to mind whenever you think about it, "Her love for me is out of sight, but I'm blinded by her beautiful light. I am simply a meer tramp wanting her love, but she's so perfect, and floats on the wings of a dove" Stop Sypher, and maybe soemthing good will happen. I have the feeling we'll meet again soon, not by death, but by destiny. Good luck, Cloud.

"Aeris........." I whispered.

"What?" asked Dr. Aries, being interuppted from his jabbering.

I smiled, for once, "Nothing, nothing at all."

Walking outside, I looked up into the sky, "Of everything I've ever done, it always comes out good. For once, it turned out bad. But it's not over yet. It's just that feeling. We'll be together again. I can feel it. Sypher, he's a challenge. He's challenging us. Challenging how much I really care. He doesn't know who he's dealing with. But if he's listening now, I'll tell him. He's dealing with the most determined, the smartest, the bravest, the strongest, he's dealing with me. Let me tell him something. You don't deal with me and get away with it. " I pulled out my sword, holding it high, "And you DON'T deal with my girlfriend, even if she IS your daughter, and get away from it!"
