~Christmas 2002~

It was so nice to have family and friends all together again. Larry and Christine were the first to arrive with overdue and much missed hugs. Little Joshua and Jacob are growing by leaps and bounds, and looked too adorable in their railroad hats. So glad that mom felt better and was able to once again favor us with her "Brit Wit." Debbie warmed everyone up with her unconditional love, and kept herself warm with her beautiful, new, red coat. If Kyle gets any taller we'll have to extend the height of the doorways. If he gets any more handsome we'll have to extend a warning to all single girls. The sparkle of the Christmas lights couldn't match the sparkle of Heathers' welcome smile and laughter. We almost didn't recognize Rick and Tina inside those trimmed-down physiques, but there was no disguising the warmth of their generosity. Jessica and Tom shared the wonderful news of their engagement with the family. We were glad to have Jennifer with us, taking some much needed R&R from her hectic college schedule. Angela arrived before Shawn looking fashionable as always, and caught up with cousins she'd not seen for a while. Shawn finally arrived with big bear hugs and a camera to capture the days' events. Artie and Becky took time away from this very special though hectic week of buying their first home, to favor us with their special brand of holiday cheer. Irene and Art stopped in for a while, with their time divided between children and grandchildren, and a schedule that would intimidate anyone a third their age. We were especially grateful to have Arthurs' childhood friend Larry with us. He battles cancer but still manages to spread Christmas joy to everyone, and reminds us all of what the holidays are really all about.

This photo should appear in the dictionary
next to the word ADORABLE!

Anything cuter than those HATS?!!

No one could ask for more than a home
filled with family and love.
