History Chapter The First In the beginning there were three kingdoms. One of the kingdoms was as you now know today as the Lost Realm. This beautiful and desolate place had flowing rivers, raging water falls, and expansive meadows of flowers not even the imagination can think of to be so beautiful. But the peace did not last forever in this place. Evil rose up and destroyed this place of peace and prosperity. Screaming and terrified creatures ran. Elven Maidens raced to escape with their children. But only two Elves made it. Both were only children. One being of Royal Blood the other being just a commoner. The woman who took the children took them to a forest. It was secret and peaceful. There the woman met the spirit of the forest. She could barely talk. She was dying. Her last words were to the spirit, "Take these children and raise them here in this peaceful forest!" With those last words the woman died. Chapter The Second As the children grew old enough to find there real names and destinies, the forest spirit called them to his presence(separately). He called upon the woman first. Her name was Magdalen, and her destiny was to be with Jhary in his quest to find his kingdom of the Lost Realm and that Jhary was of royal blood lines to the realm. Next he called the young man and told him that his true name was Jhary and that he and Magdalen were destined to go on a quest to find the kingdom of the lost realm.He also told him that Magdalen would be with him throughout his journey for the realm. On his and Magdalen's quest they would meet with many different creatures.So, after hearing thier destinies, they leave the forest, the place they grew up, and begin thier long journey in search of the Lost Realms.... Chapter The Third As Magdalen and Jhary were walking along the path they sited another elf named Rafe. Jhary said, "Who may be there?". The elf answered, "Thy name be Rafe. Might i have the pleasure of hearing your names?", asked Rafe. "Thy name is Magdalen!", answered the woman. "And thy name is Jhary!", answered the young man. Jhary said, "We are on a quest to find the kingdom of the Lost Realm. Might you have any clues of where it be Sir Rafe?" Rafe answered Jhary's question with a sigh and said,"I have heard of the Lost Realm, the kingdom of legends, since I was a small boy, and I to am on a search for the Lost Realm, also. I be of no harm or evil!", says Rafe. "I would just like once to see the legend among legends. May I be of assitance on your journey Jhary?", asked Rafe. Startled and confused, Magdalen stood in silence awaiting Jhary's answer. Finally the Jhary speaks his answer. "You can join us Sir Rafe but if we find you are evil you will be banished forever!" Rafe says "Thank you kind Jhary!" With those words exchanged they go together on their quest for the Lost Realm. Chapter The Fourth As the three were walking along the path Rafe told his story from childhood. Rafe tells about his father....... "My father died in a battle but he taught me to be handy with a sword. I grew up in a village with my father and mother until was 12. Then my father died. My mother killed by evil. I wish to accompany you to avenge my family." "Rafe," Magdalen says with a slight choke in her voice. "I am sorry about your mother and father. Jhary and I don't even know who our parents were, all we know is that Jhary was of royal bloodlines to the Lost Realm and that everyone there was killed and we were the only two to escape." She ends her story with tears streaming down her face. Jhary holds Magdalen's face up and says, "Magdalen, don't cry, tis a quest for the kingdom we are on and I'm sure we will learn more of our past when we find the kingdom. Magdalen replies with tears stained on her face "You are right. We will find our true past." She manages a weak smile. The 3 keep walking along the path and a creature pops out at them and yells, "You beware this is the land of evil!!", and the creature pulls out a giant sword and trys to strike Rafe and Jhary. With their teleportation spells they move out of the way in time. Rafe pulls out a sword and the blade goes through the demons heart. Jhary appears behind the creature and his sword goes through the head of the evil demon. With the demons dying breathe it says "You will pay. my master, Xiombourg, will kill thee." Magdalen screams as the creature grabs her leg. Jhary slices the creatures arm and Magdalen goes running to him. Jhary asks, "Magdalen are you alright?" "I think so.", Magdalen answers. "Well done Rafe. You truly were speaking words of truth!" Rafe bows to Jhary and Magdalen and says "Aye!". Magdalen curtsies to Rafe and says "Such bravery deserves a reward!", and she goes up to him and gives a kiss on the cheek. Then Magdalen walks back over to Jhary and gives him a kiss on his lips. She looks at the astonished Jhary and smiles. "Oh, my two heroes!", she says. She smiles and bows to both of them. Chapter The Fifth After their previous encounter with evil they came across a meadow were they met a faerie woman. "Don't be afraid! We are just travellers on our own looking for the Lost Realm!" The faerie, shaking with fear, said "I do not know where it be." "Will you tell me your name?" asked Magdalen. The faerie stuttered, "M-my name is Alyssa." Magdalen said, "What a pretty name it suites you well. My name is Magdalen." Alyssa looked over to Rafe and smiled at him. Alyssa said with a little nervousness in her voice, "May I join your travels?" Magdalen looked over to Jhary with a look of question on her face. He nodded. So with her complete trust in the three of them Alyssa told a story: "Their Lord is Xiombourg and their Lady is Calista. They rule the evil place beyond the hill." Alyssa took them to a cave were they met an elf, a gypsy elf by the name of Mayleena. Mayleena asked Alyssa who she had brought here. Alyssa answered "Alies, alies who are looking for the kingdom of the Lost Realm." Mayleena's eyes widened with surprise. "You brought the 3 destined to me Alyssa!?!" Mayleena told Alyssa to leave the cave as she talked to the three. Mayleena said, "You Jhary Myoto come here!" Jhary not knowing his last name reluctantly went over. Mayleena told him what he had hoped to find, his true past. Mayleena explained he was the crowned prince of Serenity, the kingdom of legends. She explained he would have a queen by the name of Magdalen whos last name was not even known to the gypsy. "Now bring the other young man to me", Mayleena ordered. Jhary bowed and said "Thank you Madame Mayleena", and left to go summon Rafe. He told Rafe that Mayleena had summoned him. Rafe reluctantly went to the gypsy. She said "You already know who you are Rafe.Your destiny is to fall in love with a woman of the fae race and be a loyal follower to the crowned prince Jhary." And Mayleena told him to give her his hand. He slowy put his hand out for the gypsy. She said "Here. You will need these." she put some magic talismans in his hand. He put them in his pouch and bowed to the gypsy and said "Thank you Mayleena." Mayleena ordered him to summon Magdalen. Rafe told Magdalen that the gypsy wanted to see her. Magdalen nodded, sighed and went in. "You called for me miss Mayleena?". "Yes I have," said the gypsy with a smile on her face. "Your name is Magdalen but your last name is not known.", Magdalen frowned. "But you are destined to marry someone you will fall deeply in love with." Mayleena did not tell Magdalen who. Mayleena wanted it to be a surprise to her. Magdalen smiled and sighed a sigh of happiness. Mayleena told her to be on her way. Magdalen politely turned to the gypsy Mayleena and said "Thank you kind Mayleena, thank you!" Mayleena yelled "Wait one second. I forgot to mention the faerie Alyssa is to join you on your journeys. Alyssa already knows this." With their destinies told they went on their way to the Castle of Serenity. Chapter The Sixth The four found the Castle of Serenity. But it didn't seem serene at all as they had pictured. Instead of peace they found it was plagued with evil! Jhary gasped when he found his kingdom like this. Alyssa said "This is it the kingdom called Serenity." Jhary looked over the kingdom and saw nothing but barren deserts and the forests that where there were nothing more then dead trees and burned down villages. Peace was nowhere to be found. Alyssa said that they could only get in the castle with a certain talisman-the Talisman of Invisiblity. Rafe said with a surprised look "I have some talismans! The gypsy woman gave them to me. She gave me five of them." Alyssa said "Let me see them." So Rafe handed her the five talismans. Four of them were the Talismans of Visiblity the other was of communication. They would use these to get into the castle. So each took one of the talismans and walked into the castle. Everywhere they had to turn Rafe told them, for he was the one chosen to navigate their journey through the castle. Until at long last they got to the throne room where they then deactivated the talismans and became visible to everyone again. Calista screamed "You! Magdalen the chosen woman of destiny!You and I finally meet!" Calista hissed at Magdalen and Jhary. Magdalen smiled and unsheathed her sword. Calista drew her sword and charged at Magdalen. Jhary teleported Magdalen to another part of the room just in time. Then, without realizing it, Magdalen was right behind Calista and took the chance to slice her cheek. "You wench!" yelled Calista. "You will pay dearly for that wretched girl!" she hissed. "Come and try!" said Magdalen. Calista charged at her in anger and frustration. Magdalen not knowing her secret power transformed into a Lion and ran and pounced on Calista. She scratched Calista's face. Magdalen didn't move in time and Calista broke Magdalen's wrist. Using her good arm Magdalen swung her sword recklessly at the Dark Queen. Finally Calista fell to her knees in defeat. Calista lay fainted on the floor by her throne. Xiombourg laughed "You may have defeated my Queen but you shant defeat me!" he looked at Jhary. Jhary grinned and laughed "We finally meet Evil Lord.". "Yes we do, Jhary", laughed Xiombourg. Alyssa and Rafe were having problems of their own fighting the evil lord's minions. Xiombourg did not unsheath a sword but he merely used magick. Powerful magick. Having problems dodging Xiombourg's magic energy waves Jhary recklessly swung his sword and hit Xiombourg numerous times until Xiombourg lost his balance. Xiombourg went into hand on hand combat using his own sword. "You prove useful with a sword." Xiombourg said to Jhary. "Why don't you come join us?" he said. Jhary answered "NEVER!!!" and knocked Xiombourg to the ground with his sword's tip pointed to Xiombourg's neck. "Leave this place and never return and I shall show you mercy!" With that Xiombourg left, Calista in his arms. Chapter The Seventh So the evil Lord Xiombourg and his Lady Calista were defeated. Mayleena said "I knew it wouldn't have been an easy task to defeat the Dark Lord and Lady, and I knew someone would get hurt badly." Rafe and Alyssa heard about Jhary taking Magdalen to the gypsy and they rushed to the cave were Mayleena lived. There they saw Magdalen in bandages and lying in a bed of hay. Rafe bowed his head to Magdalen and had an unshed tear in his eye. Alyssa came up behind Rafe and said "She will be okay I know of it." Alyssa sad and a tear rolling down her cheek left the cave with Rafe. Jhary and Mayleena were the two who remained by Magdalen's side. Jhary requested to be left alone with the unconcious Magdalen. Mayleena nodded and said "Aye my lord", and left the cave. Jhary had tears rolling down his face and said "Magdalen I love you. I have loved you ever since we started our journey, and I will always love you. Magdalen! Please Magdalen, come back to me, please!" he started to weep. Magdalen's right hand moved to Jhary's cheek and Jhary looked up in surprise and happiness at his beloved Magdalen. Her eyes slowly opened after endless sleep, and said "Jhary I love you. I will always love you as you have loved me. Jhary!" She said weakly. Jhary said "It's alright Magdalen. You need to save your strength." He said with a smile and tears stained on his face. Magdalen gave him a smile with all the strength she could muster and said "Jhary, we have beaten the Evil Xiom bourg and Calista, haven't we?". "Yes we have." said Jhary with tears in his eyes. "Yes, my love we have beaten the evil.". "Good!" Magdalen said with weak enthusiasm. She then fainted from weakness. Jhary smiled, happy that his beloved Magdalen had come back to him. He ran out to Rafe, Alyssa, and Mayleena saying "She's come back! Magdalen has come back to me!!!" Rafe smiled and clutching his Immortality Amulet said "Magdalen has finally come back!" The warrior Rafe had never been so happy to hear such great news about his friend. One week later, with Magdalen fully recovered, she took a walk along the riverbank and to her surprise she saw Jhary there. He saw her and ran overto her and said "Magdalen, my love. Will you be my Queen and rule this kingdom with me?" With a surprised look she managed a smile and then remembered what the Gypsy said."You will marry the man who you have fallen deeply in love with" Magdalen smiled to herself and thought Is this what Mayleena had fortold?? Without furthur hesitation she smiled and said "Yes my love. I will marry you!!!" He stood up and kissed her. The wedding was held shortly after the proposal. But after Magdalen and Jhary were married a very surprising thing happened. Rafe and Alyssa fell in love. Magdalen and Jhary ruled their kingdom with love and peace and became well-known rulers throughout the world of the Lost Realm....... Home
