Sometimes it is and educated guess (KDY?). Sometimes there are joint projects (KDY/SFS). On one occasion I have a ship which is actually a Rendili Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser heavily modified by the Alliance to Restore the Republic (Rendili/Alliance). I give below what all abbreviations stand for. NAME OF VEHICLE/SPACE STATION Usually the name of a class or model; occassionally the name of an individual vehicle or station, with what general type it is after a comma, if known. Rather than add "-class" after class name, I have only highlighted them. Thus, "Dreadnaught Heavy Cruiser" instead of "Dreadnaught-class Heavy Cruiser." LENGTH (m) Length is always from fore to aft (exceptions: diameters & length of B-wing, which is that of the main "Blade"). Length is ALWAYS given in metres, never in feet, miles, or kilometres. Most of these lengths come from various official sources; others from Little Yoda's World, B Squared's, Star Warriors, Galactic Empire Data Bank, and Technical Commentaries; the following are my own, all round figure and not extremely accurate: Luxury Sail Barge (measured compered to length of skiff, and assumeing that WEG originally intended the Eclipse to be what Jabba's barge was, or virtually the same), STAP (measured compared to STAP's hight, which is about 2 metres), cloud car and patrol craft (measured compared to human pilots, about 1.75 metres tall), Battle Droid Troop Carrier and Neimoidian Shuttle (compared in size to MTT, hoping that a Troop Carrier rack is the same size as a MTT rack, and the rack/MTT scale in E1:ICS is accurate and the observation that in the E1 comic the Neimoidian shuttle is about the same length as a MTT and appears to be made by the same manufacturer), Shockwave (a very speculative guess, being much bigger than an Imperator Star Destroyer, but I think not as big as an Allegiance "Super" Star Destroyer), Mon Cal Battle Cruiser from Vector Prime (I have assumed that the Mon Cal Battle Cruiser is within the range of 1500+-3000+ metres, since this is the range of lengths of ROTJ Mon Cal Star Cruisers, referred to as battle cruisers in the book; I here give a length of 2400 metres, twice that of a plain old Mon Cal Cruiser in apocryoha at 1200 metres; remember, this is a rough guess with little factual basis), & (I have doubled this for) the Star Defender (length, which is said to be double that of a battle cruiser in Vector Prime; this seems to me adequate, since the resulting length od 4800 metres is certainly larger than the Home One, previosly the NR's biggest ship). The Nyubba Cargo Barge Driver is from Bungo & Rusti Website. I also came up with Pestage's Yacht, compared to boarding passengers. -Endor "Pre" and "Post" stand for "Pre-Endor" and "Post-Endor." Note that "Post" often refers only to first being mentiond (to my knowledge) Post-Endor; such ships may have been made before the Battle of Endor, though many certainly were not. Some ships desiganted "Pre" are never seen in literature or art until Post-Endor, but are definitely said to have existed "Pre." Hence, this system is not a very good one. Oh well.
