The Matrix
The original Matrix, the film that started it all.
Mind-blowing stunts. Techno-Slamming Visuals. Mega-kick action. The movie will leave you breathless.

The must see film from 1999. The unplugging of Neo and the realisation that he is The One.

The Most Memorable Character: Spoon Boy. Refered to in reloaded without being named, see if you can spot where (It's not hard)

The DVD is a must own item for any Matrix fan, the extras are great, they include behind the scenes documentaries and filmographies. There is also a 'Follow The White Rabbit' feature, where viewers can watch the film and anytime a white rabbit appears, they can select it and view small making of documentaries of the coresponding sections.
Enhanced Features for a DVD-ROM include a game, screenplay and storyboard and genre essays. As well as the original website stored on the DVD.

The Matrix Reloaded
I went to see the Matrix Reloaded on Tuesday the 27th of May 2003, and boy, this film kicks ass!! The fight scenes are amazing, and that car chase is superb.
The CG is brilliant, and blends seamlessly with the live action sequences. The use of Green Screen Technology and Wire-Fighting add to the fight scenes, and that Kung-Fu choreography is minted.
Oh and of course, the infamous 'Bullet Time' has been perfected for the 2nd Film, making the whole movie much more enjoyable.

The new film has a comedy value, with the many funny quotes.
Another amusing aspect of the film is the appearance of the Twins, played by Adrian and Neil Rayment. Who were the DIY Experts of 'Carol Vorderman's Better Homes' until ditching Carol for The Matrix Reloaded (Can you blame them??). This stirred many a giggle and comment from our (and our sister site; GTAPro's) resident Film Guru; Sunkist, with comments such as 'That's a neat bit of DIY' when the Twins sink through the floor.

!!!! POTENTIAL PLOT SPOILERS !!!!
The plot is a little thin in places, but it is still a great film. It can be confusing towards the begining, but as you progress through the film it makes more and more sense, if you pay attention.
There are some downers in the film; it's sad to see the Nebuchadnezzar get destroyed, but it adds to the action, and the crew of one ship are slaughtered by their own dodgy welding.

I highly recommend this film, and when watching it, make sure to annoy the cinema attendants at the end by sitting through the whole credits, as there is a good trailer for Revolutions afterwards.
