Billy Mercier Having no ability to play geetar in the slightest, Billy decided in the 9th grade to one day start a band and this band would be The Mayo. He then designed the logo for said band in art class. The geetar was learned and seven years later his dream came to fruition. Billy recruited Josh, Sammy, and Jakey-Jake (and Rob LeCompte, but he joined The Marines [shakes fist]) to help in the conquest of the world-I mean, to help rock good and proper. Yeah that's it. They won't suspect anything... Anywho, The Mayo is laying down the fat beats and kickin' out the jams. Keep the dream alive! |

Josh Pinsky In 5th grade, Josh learned how to play the flute. He continued to play the flute until 9th grade, when he picked up a guitar and played it like he was ringing a bell. He began to play with his good friend Billy Mercier, and together they kept the dream alive. But, the dream eventually died, and after a short hiatus from playing, Josh picked up the bass. He joined again with Mr. Mercier to revive the dream. They, along with Jake and Sammy-Boy rocked on hardkore style.... which brings us up to date. |

Jake Stiffler Jake was born on a farm in west Wyoming. To the delight of family, friends and neighbors, Jake learned to ice skate. He went to the rink every chance he got and became so good, he started to skate in compititions. He won trophy after trophy until it was thought, hey, maybe this kid could be olympic caliber. Jake trained and trained until he was invited to the games... then it happened. As he jogged around Lake Kanko, a huge, muscular, unbred donkey lunged out from the depths of the lake and claimed his right leg. Luckily, a wandering minstrel saw the chaos and managed to rip Jake from the viscious jaws of the beast. He took Jake to a local medical center, where they managed to seal off the wound and fit him with a prosthetic leg. Unfortunately, Jake's career as a Pro Figure Skater was over. But the wandering minstrel decided to teach Jake how to play his Ukelele. Fact is though, the minstrel was dying, and it was up to Jake to carry on his legacy. He wandered the country until he came to Maryland. After seeing his skills, a circus recruited him to play "Bring On the Clowns" at each show. Billy, who at the time was recruiting members for his new band, heard about the ukelele player who cued the clowns at the circus. Billy decided to pay a visit to the circus, and upon hearing Jake's "magic fingers," he asked him to join The Mayo. |

Sam Papke Billy recruited Sam as The Mayo's drummer back in the summer of 2003 in preparation for All-Day. Even though The Mayo didn't play any shows until January of 2004, Sam remained a part of the band. Sam has been playing drums since middle school, but The Mayo is the first band that he has played in that has lasted more than a day. |
