Practice Cutting Skills: Students will practice fine motor skills of cutting by cutting straight lines to the snowmen. Content Standard: PD 5 Snowmen Shapes: Students will use a variety of cut out shapes to design their very own snowman! They will dictate a sentence about their snowman to the teacher to write on their picture. Content Standard: MA 20, LA 31, PD 4 Re-telling Stories: Read All to Build a Snowman. Students will re-tell the story in pictures. They will dictate what happened 1st, next, last, etc... Content Standard: LA 22 Prediction??: Students will begin by drawing a snowman on one page. Then, they will draw a prediction of what they think will happen to the snowman if he is in the sunshine ALL day.They will dictate and explain their reasoning.
