The Kezners + More Than Glory
Reviewed by: James Tholke

This past Saturday, Luca's Pizza hosted a small concert featuring The Kezners, playing their jazz-like rock and More Than Glory, playing their more modern day punk rock.  Even though I was fashionably late for the Kezners opening set (sorry guys), I stayed to hear most of their second set.  I was impressed with both bands and the way they played.  Both bands possessed the kind of energy one looks for in a musical group nowadays.  It's nice to see bands that can actually play their own instruments and write good songs, since the music scene has been overrun by non-talented boy bands.  Both More Than Glory and The Kezners put on a very good show.  They were equally compelling and powerful in their own ways.  The only downside to the show was that my request for "Stairway to Heaven" was denied ... maybe next time.  But I still loved the performance and I wish both bands the best of luck and I can't wait until they release their first CD's.  You can bet that I'll buy them as soon as I can.
