"End Is Forever"; The Ataris
Reviewed by Freddy Nunez

"I guess I'm giving up on love" so goes the chorus to the first song on the brand spanking' new Ataris CD, "End is Forever".  This disc is a reminder of how more and more punk bands are dealing with issues of love, loss and the pain it brings.  In a time when more people roll to Limp Bizkit and beat their girlfriends to Eminem, this disc is a breath of fresh air.  It not only rocks but it has real feeling behind its songs.  When Kris Roe sings "Where are you I need you near/give one last chance and I'll never let you down again", you feel it deep inside.  The songs on "End is Forever" will make you wanna run and fight for her and never give up on true love.  The pain from a break up can be something that changes someone.  The joy of falling in love can be just as great.  On this album you get the sense of both with songs like "i.o.u. one galaxy".   "End is Forever" will prove to be one great album, you will listen to it for days, and like a new toy, you won't be able to put it down.  this is something that not a lot of new bands can't say they do. The Ataris have made one great album for the broken hearted, this is one we can't do with out.
