Saves The Day Tour
Reviewed by: The Cluck

Approximately five months ago, I attended the Vagrant Across America tour to which Saves The Day, Hot Rod Circuit and others performed.  After enjoying that show as much as I did, I basically flew to the record store to buy myself a ticket to see Saves The Day at The Vanderbilt.

Thursday was alright, I didn't get to see much of their set because once again, I ran to the Saves The Day merch table.

At the end of Thursday's set, I ran to the front, so that I'd be close when Saves The Day came on.

In doing this, I got to see Hey Mercedes right up front.  This band is emo and surprisingly good.  I've been on their mailing list but never really listened to the band.  I will definetly buy a CD sometime soon.

Saves The Day...What else can I say that I didn't say in the last review?  The band is simply incredible.  The band is so interactive with the crowd.  At this concert, I was almost right up against the barrier, even better than the last time.  I gave Chris a demo tape for one of the local bands and he read the name into the microphone, it was very cool.  Instead of playing their acoustic songs electric, as they did in their Vagrant tour, the singer Chris played the songs acoustic.  It was wonderful, the crowd was singing along.  When his mic stoped working, the crowd just took over.  The band was just totally amazing, I would definetly go see them a third time.  They have become one of my all time favorite bands.  If you haven't heard Saves The Day yet, you better haul ass to the record store and pick up a copy of ANY one of their cd's.  You won't regret it!!
