Brett graduated form the Classical Guitar program at the MUN school of music in 2003 with a Bachelor of Music degree. A proficient musician in many instruments such as guitar, piano, percussion, bass, mandolin, bodhran and violin, he performs a wide variety of styles and has been recorded on over twenty albums. He has also worked as producer and arranger on many others. Brett has performed in many areas all over the province with various bands, including performances at the MIA Showcases in 2004 and 2006, and has worked with the Rising Tide Theatre as a musician/actor. In addition to performing, Brett is active in both teaching and composing. A registered music teacher (RMT), he has taught many students. Brett has written many songs and has arranged music from radio ads to solo guitar works. Currently, he is the owner/operater of the MusicBox, a teaching and recording studio. | |||||||||

Crystal Ali. Crystal holds a B. Mus. Degree from Memorial University’s School of Music. Her principal instrument is voice. She has been performing since she was 13 and sings various genres of music such as classical, musical theatre, pop, folk, and gospel. She has performed in various choirs such as MUN festival choir. She has also performed in a women’s vocal group called the Silver Belles at the Bowring Park Tree of Lights ceremony. Crystal has performed as a soloist quite frequently. She has performed in the D.F, Cook recital Hall, Kiwanis music festival,folk festivals, as well as many wedding and church service solos. She performed a classical recital in voice at the West End Baptist Church and organized various concerts/shows including an Evening of Christmas Music in CBS. Crystal has also worked as a studio musician and is credited on many cds/demos. She currently teaches at The MusicBox, CBS., and at the Music Collection, St. Johns. She enjoys playing piano and guitar. | |||||||||

Allan graduated from the MUN school of music in 2005, receiving a degree in theory/composition, with classical guitar as his principal instrument. He has over 10 years experience playing guitar and bass, with 5 years of teaching experience for those particular instruments. He is also proficient at many other instruments, including piano, brass, percussion, double reeds, violin, and voice. He performs in various bands around the city of St. John’s, including Miss Conduct and Anthill Victory, and has appeared on many recordings. Allan has been writing music for more than a decade, with well over a hundred pieces to his credit. | |||||||||

Fred ( B.A., B.A. ed. ) is a retired schoolteacher, having taught in a number of communities throughout Newfoundland. He has always had an interest in music and made it an integral part of his teaching. An accomplished musician, he plays a number of instruments including guitar, bass, mandolin, accordion, harmonica, dobra, and borhan . He has performed across the province and has released several cds of his own original material.. Having a special interest in NFLD. culture, much of his original material reflects that theme and he has written hundreds of songs. Currently working as an audio consultant and session musician for The MusicBox, he is credited on many cds. recorded by other artists. | |||||||||
