DWA interview- June 1999 (1)
If you were stranded on a desert island, what ten things would you like to have with you?
A bar of soap, coffee pills, a book called "light warriors" by the author Paulo Coelho, a photo of Johnny Depp, a radio, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of comfortable shoes, a photo of Toto', something to kill off the scorpions, and something to put the scorpions in!
Who is your favourite actor/actress?
Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock.
Do you follow "Friends"?
How can one not?
What is your weakness?
Coffee. I know it's not wild or anything, but I love it. It picks me up especially in the mornings!
Do you cringe when you see yourself on T.V.?
Yes because it seems so strange. I seem like a different person or rather it seems like the one on television is my clone.
Have you ever picked up a magazine in a foreign country with gossip about you that is untrue?
Loads of times. I moan about it sometimes because journalists don't think you're a human being with feelings. But then again, I moan when they don't mention me. You can't win, can you?
Have you ever followed a musical fashion?
Yes I was a new romantic. I loved Duran Duran and Spandau Ballet.
Other than 'Sanremo festival' is there another event that you'd like to star in?
'Pavarotti & friends' and the concert for 1st May in rome.
What's the zaniest thing you've ever seen in a foreign country?
The colourful buses in Manila. They're built to hold from 8 to 10 passengers yet about 40 or more climb on board!
Were you a good little girl or a bad little girl?
Good of course!
