The reason why I change my hair style so often is just down to habit! I've always been like this! Even at the age 13-14 I never kept the same style for long. Before I began my career, I changed my look so many times that now when I sift through my old photos I find it hard to believe that I'm the one in them. I've been blonde, I've had mixed coloured hair, I've had curly hair (one of the worst hairstyles as my hair is really straight). I've even had really long hair and then the following week had it cut really short and so on....!!
* What is your natural hair colour?
Dark Brown.
* Are you really 31?
Yes I am. But age doesn't really matter. It's whats inside that counts.
* Your favourite song you've done as a solo artist is "Uh la la la" but what is your least favourite?
I'm lucky enough to say that I haven't got a song that I like less than another. I actually love every song that I've sung. It'd be difficult to sing a song that you don't like.
* Do you listen to all the remixes of your songs and has there been a mix that you have really hated or one that you think was better than the original?
Yes I do listen to them. Besides I really like remixes, most of the time anyway. One of the remixes I liked a lot was "Uh la la la" remixed by "Father of Sound".
* How often do you surf the internet?
To be honest with you, hardly ever because I'm so busy!
* Being a big international star, you must speak quite a lot of languages. Have you ever got them mixed up?
Yes I have!! I was shocked at the same time because I was in a press interview and I was afraid of what the journalist may have understood. I mixed English with Spanish and Portuguese with Italian!! But I was in the last country of a world tour and I'd been working really hard so I've forgiven myself for all the confusion!
* What's your favourite song at the moment?
"Big, big world" by Emilia.
* You appear on millions of TV programmes. Has there ever been a time when you are ready to appear on a show and you think "Oh I remember this show and what happened last time" and then on air you say what happened last time only to find out that this is actually a different show?
This has never happened to me!!!
* Will you ever release a cover version?
I may do. Besides I sing a lot of covers for my own pleasure!
* Have you ever been in a situation where you get into something like a taxi and the driver says "You look like that singer Alexia except you're better looking"?
No, It's never happened to me, but it'd be hilarious if it did!!
* Your real name is Alessia, why as an artist do you go by the name Alexia and does your close family call you Alessia or Alexia?
All of my friends, relatives, neighbours and close family call me "Alessia" sometimes "Alexia" for fun. They treat me like a normal person because I am!!
* Do you ever stop smiling?
No, never!
* Do you hang out with other Italian artists such as Gala and Neja?
No, I haven't had the chance to yet, but I'm flattered to be considered as strong as they are as far as artists go.
* Will you ever release a record for charity?
I think it would be a great thing to do. I had a lot of offers in the past but I couldn't accept any of them. I had a lot of other very important engagements to do at the time. However, I'm hoping that I'll have some offers in the future.
* Do you have a message for your fans?
Keep smiling and keep on dancing-you use up more calories.
