"Goodbye" is released !!!

"Goodbye" was finally released in Italy on July 8th on CD and 12" vinyl. A 2 track CD is to be released soon.
Goodbye should be released in the rest of Europe in the autumn.

Note: One of "Alexia's" old songs was called "Goodbye" too !
This song was released under the name Fourteen 14 in 1994.

Alexia has said that at the moment, her life has been non-stop due to her tour. When her tour reached Sion, in Switzerland, Alexia met Leroy Gomez (aka Santa Esmerelda). Alexia said that she used to sing his song "Don't let me be misunderstood" when she was in other bands, and never thought that one day she would be on the same bill as him!

Alexia has said once and for all that she wouldn't want to appear in films. She said, "It's hard enough just to shoot a video that lasts about 3 minutes let alone a film that lasts around 2 and a half hours!!! I find it very exciting to be on set but it can be exhausting mainly because filming always finishes late."

Alexia has been reading her Taurean horroscope and has found out that after the 28th June, all Taureans will have a good summer.

Alexia's new album "Happy" was reported to have a release date of August 10th but this was proved false. "Happy" looks set to be released in The Netherlands in September

Alexia has just appeared in another charity concert for ADMO associaition. The concert raised money for people suffering from leukemia. The concert was held in "Versilpark" in Versilia which isn't very far from the DWA offices! Among the songs she sung were "Uh la la la", "Summer is crazy", "The music I like", "Gimme love", "Number one", "Hold on", "Crazy for you", "Claro de luna" and the new single "Goodbye".

The US version of "The Party" is to include "Me and you", "Summer is crazy", "Number one", "Uh la la la" and "Baby baby baby" along with more songs from "Fan Club" and "The Party". The Japanese version of "The Party" called "Uh la la la" will be released on August 4th.

DWA have announced that they are working on an e-shop to be added to their site in the future...

Lucky Stelios from Greece got to meet Alexia at Bari after her concert there. Stelios got to talk to her for over 2 hours and took over 70 photos!!!

Alexia couldn't sleep for two days whilst her tour was in Finland due to the fact that at the moment in Scandinavia the sun doesn't set!!!

Alexia about ...

I hope that you're all having a great time!
At long last, this summer has started to get generous and is giving us glorious sunshine day in, day out!
I'm always travelling which gives me the chance to become miss mega sociable! Wandering here and there and chatting to everyone everywhere!
Then as soon as I put my foot through the door of my own home I transform into a another person.
Infact just last week I spent a relaxing yet fun evening with a special friend of mine-my sister!
Do you wanna know what we got up to? Well I'm gonna tell you anyway!
We decided to spend the evening in at my house and do something there. So we got some pizzas and coca-cola in and had a feast sprawled out comfortably on a carpet in the living room tuned into MTV (with the exception of perhaps switching over to watch some cartoons!).
When we're infront of the TV set we're like two teenagers, giggling and making sure we never miss out on any of the gossip!
To be honest, to be 'on the other side' of the show and not in the public's eye can sometimes be nice too. It makes you dream of fame all over again!

So there you go an evening of just musical videos and interviews until the early hours of the next morning. Total relax....and I certainly needed it!

And my sister? Since the age of ten she's listened and watched nothing but musical videos and music. Take away music programmes from her is like having blood with no colour! But then, the same goes for me!

The only thing that disturbed us during our relaxing evening was my cat Chicca who kept strolling in and out of the living room! Rather than an elegant feline she looked more like a sack of potatoes plumping herself on our heads every half an hour!

O.K. it's time to go now, but before I do I want to leave you with some advice: there's nothing wrong with dreaming, in fact do! As long as your head doesn't stay too long in the clouds!!!

A big kiss to everybody!

Alexia about ...

"It's been non stop recently but I love it! I know that I often say how I like to stay at home relaxing but the summer season is here and there's no way I want to stay at home shut inside!!!
For the last couple of weeks I've been performing my new show alongside Paolo (on guitar) and DJ Teo (spinning discs). In fact one of my most recent shows was in Sion in Switzerland where I met up with Leroy Gomez, otherwise known as Santa Esmeralda. Years ago when I played with my band in discos, I used to sing a cover of the song "Don't let me be misunderstood". Who would have ever thought that one day both of us would have been on the same bill. That's cool!
If I'm not doing any concerts or in the studio then I'm either doing photo shoots or on set filming my new video. People have asked me time and time again whether or not I'd like to star in a film and I always answer a simple "NO!". It's hard enough just to shoot a video that lasts about 3 minutes let alone a film that lasts around 2 and a half hours!!! I find it very exciting to be on set but it can be exhausting mainly because filming always finishes late.
Being in the show business gives me the opportunity to meet new people continually.
A couple of weeks ago at the Aprilia circuit in Barberino di Mugello I met up with the motorcyclist Valentino Rossi. What a cute guy! I don't really know a lot about this kind of stuff but I enjoyed myself all the same! I've been reading up about my stars and it seems that from the 28th of June onwards all of those under the sign of Taurus will have a good summer! Apparantly Saturn, a pretty severe planet, has been causing havoc for us taureans. I couldn't care less about the planet Saturn, all I'm worried about is that this particular planet packs its bags and leaves me in peace!
Have a great summer!"
