Alexia continues on her promotional tour, including an extended visit to Australia to promote “The Party” and the Australian release of “Gimme love”. In Australia, the club short edit is released as the radio version, but the European and UK radio versions are available on the two CD set which was released on 26/10/98. Around this time, Alexia records a new version of “Hold on” with completely different vocals. The song called “It’s Christmas time” will be commercially available on a planned remix album, due to be released in November/ December. “The Party” sells over 500,000 copies worldwide, which is a positive result considering that it has yet to be released in some of the biggest countries. The third and final single from “The Party” is named as “Keep on movin’” is planned for release at the end of this month, but the release date is put back until early/ mid November. DWA say that famous DJ’s are currently working on remixes of the song.
