The oldest and,arguably, the best live music venue in Houston.
Two stages, both with about the best sound systems and soundmen in town.
Always a good blend of local, both established and up and coming, and touring acts.

real nice place run by real nice people.

okay, everyone know what the Engine Room is in Houston so I don't really need to say anything about it.
Java Jazz Coffeehouse
A coffeehouse up in Spring, TX. they were our first gig back when we were the Swingin' Neckbreakers so I put 'em up here.
SideCar Pub
a really great european styled pub
BANDS
The Studdogs
a really really cool band from Florida that we played with at the SideCar Pub.
The Down'n'Dirties
played with 'em a few times and hope to many times in the future.
these dudes ROCK!!!
Ten Shades of Grey
a band from Beaumont that we played with at the 1st Annual Punk Rock BBQ.
they drove up, unloaded, used a borrowed 3 piece drum kit and just tore it up.
great stage presence and great talents.
Black Light Sunshine
a band from Nebraska that we played with at the Engine Room.
great guys and really wonderfully textured tunes.
Poor Dumb Bastards
best live show in town.
they probably wouldn't want you to know this, but they
actually write geat songs and play extraordinarily well.
The Dictators
okay, we've never played with them but boy would we love to. Basically, the Dictators inspired 3/4 of the band and no one know who they are anymore so check 'em out.

Junkboy Records
a cool record label run by Jason from the Studdogs. honestly people, the man runs his own record label and still has time to put up with a band?! this man is my hero.
Epitaph
Epitaph. there's nothing else to say. legends in the punk rock biz. on this label is Bad Religion, Bouncing Souls, Nekromantix, The Donnas and The Hives.
HellCat Records
a great label run by a great man, Tim Armstrong from Rancid. basically, it's a part of Epitaph but it's got Rancid, the Distillers, Joe Strummer and many more.
