The production tandem of Jonny Cuba and The Loop Professor make up Dynamic Syncopation, a trip-hop team with great hip-hop sensibilities.  Or is it the other way around?  The result of the partnership is Dynamism, an extremely funky, often jazzy album split between groovy hip-hop and upbeat trip-hop.  All the rappers on the album are from various indy scenes and they all deliver inspired lyrics that co-exist with the Dynamic beats.  The trip-hop instrumentals stand well on their own, but have such a strong hip-hop vibe that they often feel as though there should be vocals.  In any case, the Dynamic vibe is full of life and tailored for a good hip-hop party.  Asking if Dynamic is trip-hop or hip-hop is like asking what came first, the chicken or the egg.
