The production team of Baloo and DJ Search have created a thoroughly groovy hip hop album in Amongst the Madness.  Contributing to the funky insanity are smooth flowing underground rappers from the UK and east coast USA.  The best verses come from Philly dj and rapper Soulson, whose five tracks on the album demonstrate both his ability and the faith that Baloo and Search put in his rhymes.  The "star power" on the album comes from TY, whose ragga style fits in perfectly with The Nextmen's funky beats and organ-driven grooves.  Other welcome surprises come from rappers Red Cloud and Grap Luva, just two more hip-hoppers a step below the surface whose talents The Nextmen easily recognised.
