Luton's answer to UK hip-hop is Phi-Life Cypher, an unexpected group from an unexpected place.  The high energy, fast flowing, smoothly smart lyrical tandem of Si-Philli and Life is perfectly supported by the hard-driving, yet almost funky beats of DJ Nappa.  The track ABC says everything about Phi-Life, with the rappers trading short, alliterative verses as they make their way through the entire alphabet, even q, while underneath Nappa drops a phat, funky beat.  The delivery is smooth on all their tracks, while still maintaining such a frenetic style, and the beats never falter.  Phi-Life seems destined for bigger and better things.
