"10 minutes til showtime!!"

"Allright boys..C'mon! Lets get pumped up!" JC said jumping around backstage. "This is the first show of the 'No Strings Attached' tour..Lets show those people what we're made of! Can I get an Amen??"

"Amen!" Joey, Justin, Lance and Chris all yelled out excitedly in unision.

"I didnt hear you....I saiiiid..CAN I GET AN AMEN?!?"

"AMEN!!" They yelled again even louder.

"Thats more like it!"

"Ok 'Ness.." Chris said turning towards Vanessa. "We don't give JC pixie stix before a show ok?"

"Ok Chris" She said laughing. "It wont happen again."

"Can I just say something..Before we go out?" Justin said above the commotion backstage.

"Sure buddy..go ahead." JC said.

"Well, I just want to say thank you to everyone back here for being the best friends a guy could have. We've been through so much over the past few months..it just seems unimaginable. But we've been there for each other...Through thick and thin...good times and bad. So thank you. and now...WE'VE GOT A JOB TO DO!! WHAT ARE YALL DOIN STANDIN' AROUND HERE HUH?!? LET'S GO DO DIS!!"

"YEAH! That's what I'm talking about!!" JC said.

"Ok no more pixie stix for the Curly one neither Nessa." Chris said.

"Gotcha." she said patting him on the shoulder.

"Justin! I almost forgot!" Alyssa said running up to him. "I was supposed to give you this." she handed him a folded up piece of paper.

"What is it?"

"Just a...Good Luck note for tonight." She said smiling.

Justin opened up the note and began reading it.



Dear Justin,

Well I knew this time was coming. I wish it didnt have to, but theres nothing I can do. I don't want to leave you, not like this. I prayed and prayed that I wouldnt have to. Well, God's giving me a few more minutes. Just enough time to write this to you before I have to go.

Justin, even though I told you that I love you. Even though you know in your heart that I do. You will never know how much you truly mean to me. I guess I'll have to wait until we're together again to tell you. But until then this will have to do. It was such a blessing for me to get to work for you and the guys. It helped take my mind off my parents' death. And Im so sorry that I never told you about them. I just didnt want any pity from anyone. I left that part of my life behind and started a new life in Orlando. And I'm so grateful that you were a part of it.

Please don't mourn over me and Please never, ever blame yourself of any of this. It wasnt your fault. Its just a part of life. These things happen and you move on. And thats exactly what I want you to do. I hope that you find someone who loves you for you. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Don't let anyone ever play with your emotions again. There's someone else out there..and when the right time comes. You'll find each other.

Take care of Lyssa for me. I guess Joey already has that covered though. Keep the other boys in line allright? Tell them I love them. They were all practically my big brothers. Im gonna miss them so much. Give Andi and Vanessa my love too.

I told Lyssa to give this to you the first night of your tour. I hope it brings you good luck. I wish you guys the best next year with the new album and tour. Be careful..Don't stay out too late, And most of all.., Give it 110%!! But I don't have to tell you that. I know you will anyway. Stay the way you are...dont ever change for anyone! I love you Justin! and I'll be watching tonight.

Justin folded up the letter and placed it in his pocket. He wiped his face dry and ran out to the side of the stage to join the others as the crowd began chanting thier names.
