Later on that day, Dani was sitting on the edge of the stage while the guys were getting ready to do soundcheck. No matter how hard she tried she couldnt stop thinking about Justin.
He just thinks of me as a friend." She thought."I need to stop this, Im here because of the webpage, not to fall head over heels in love with somebody. No...I need to just stop this. But, What if he likes me? What if that dream was a sign? Maybe I can get Chris to talk to him...NO no no Dani youre not in high school for crying out loud!"
Dani sat there in a daze until she was uncomfortably startled by something ice cold laying against her neck.
"AAHH! Justin!" She yelled as he took the bottle of water away from her neck and sat down beside her laughing. Dani stared at the floor in annoyance
"Dont be so touchy!" he said smiling
"Well, That was COLD!"
"Well, Excuuuse me for being a friend and trying to cool you off. You looked like you were all steamed up about something...So what is it?"
"What is what?"
"What's bothering you?"
"Nothing."
"Dani..."
"Nothing!"
"Yes there is.."
"No Justin its Nothing, would you STOP?" she yelled in annoyance.
"Hey hey now, dont give me that attitude girl." he said while playfully hitting her on the arm.
"Im not!" she said laughing and hitting him back harder.
"Ow!..I didnt hit you that hard!"
"So?"
"Thats gonna leave a bruise."
"Im sorry." she said laughing
"No dont give me that now girlfriend." He said turning his head and putting his hand up in her face.
"Please???"
"No." He said getting up and walking off.
"Forgive me oh great one." Dani said following him.
"Ummm.." He said pretending to think. "No."
"Pretty Please?" Dani said getting on her knees. Justin was trying to keep a straight face the whole time but he burst out laughing when Joey walked by them and gave them a weird look. He then raised his eyebrows and gave Justin two thumbs up.
"Well since youre begging..No." he said walking off again.
"Nooo Justin come back!" Dani said laughing hysterically while grabbing onto his leg.
"Ok ok, What the heck were we even talking about in the first place?" He said laughing.
"I forgot." Dani said standing up.
"No...I remember, You wouldnt tell me what was wrong."
"Oh yeah...that"
"So whats wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Dont start!"
"Ok..I just have a lot on my mind thats all." she said shoving her hands in her pockets
"Wanna talk?"
Dani glanced up at him and shook her head no. Justin stood there and stared at her, wishing he knew what was wrong. He knew something was bothering her and he hated that he couldnt do anything about it.
"Justin come on we're fixing to start." Lance called out from the other side of the stage.
"Ok be right there." He said back to him and then turned back to Dani. "Hey if you need me, Im here for you allright?" he said holding her chin up so that she would face him instead of the floor. He could tell she was on the verge of tears.
"Ok." She said letting a faint smile appear. "How can you help me if youre the problem though?" she thought to herself as he walked off.
"Ok fellas lets do it." Justin said to the others as Dani made her way down to the front row to watch them rehearse.
"Hey there puddin pop." Chris said stepping in front of Dani at the catering table.
"Hey..umm HEY! Did I say you could pass me?"She asked him as he smiled back at her and popped a cheese puff in his mouth.
"Oh youll live." he said grabbing a plate. "So, Dani...Im sorry about you know, this morning."
"Its ok."
"No really, I mean I know you dont want him to find out about it and.."
"Chris would you hush??" Dani said lowering her voice.
"What he's not around us is he? Justin JUS--tin!! No see he's not around..Dani? Why's youre face red?"
"Chris!" she mumbled picking up her tray and walking over to the table.
"Ok ok..Im sorry. Really I mean it this time." he said laughing. Dani stared back at him as if she didnt believe him.
"Scouts honor?"
"I dont believe you."
"Dannnnii come on!"
"I dont. Youve probably already told him everything and now you all are gonna get a good laugh about it for the remainder of the trip."
"Dani I swear I havent said a word ok?"
"If you say so."
"Dani!" Chris pleaded for her to believe him. Dani smiled to herself. She knew he hadnt said anything, she just wanted to get Chris back at his own game.
"Ay, Chris whatchu harassin my girl for?" Justin said walking up behind them. Dani almost gagged on her soda when she heard him. How long had he been standing there??
"Dani you ok?" Chris asked her as she started coughing
"Yeah...Im..fine...i..." She started to say and then picked up her glass and got another drink.
"Im fine." Justin sat down beside her and Chris started smiling. Dani gave him an evil look.
"Well...Hey theres Joey sitting all by himself I think Im gonna go over there..Bye you two." He said getting up and leaving.
"What was that all about?" Justin said walking over so that he could sit in the seat across from Dani.
"I dunno, He's just Chris ya know?"
"Yeah. Unfortunatly I know too well." Justin said picking up a napkin from Dani's tray and folding it. Dani started laughing.
"Are you making a paper airplane Andy?"
Justin unfolded the napkin completly then stared back up at her. "Andy?"
"Andy Duncan." Dani said laughing at the fact that he didnt have a clue what she was talking about.
"Andy...Dun..can.." Justin said slowly. "Dani..are you feeling.."
"Hey if you give me a piece of paper I'll build a plane that can loop-de-loop around that chandelier!" Dani said imitating Justin from one of his skits on MMC. Justin finally caught on and started laughing.
"OH..ok I get it now. Wow youve got a better memory than me."
"Yeah I guess its just because I watched it so many times and all." she said without even thinking.
Oh yeah slick move there Dani. Now he's gonna think your completly obsessed, Watching Tv shows over and over from when he was 12! oh...yeah he was 'thirteen' duh! Remember because he told Rhona's charecter that he was gonna have to start shaving soon and...
"Hey...Earth to Dani? Come in please?" Justin said waving his hand in front of her face.
"Huh? Oh sorry I was just in a.."
"Daze?"
"Yeah."
"You seem to get in those a lot lately."
"I know."
"Here." He said handing her the napkin, neatly folded into a little airplane.
"Its from Andy, he says if you ever want to talk to him and tell him whats been bothering you, He'd be more than happy to listen."
"Well...Tell him I appreaciate it." Dani said smiling back at Justin. He got up and started to walk off then he turned around and a smile crept up on his face.
"Hey I wonder if JC remembers that skit." He said laughing to himself. "I ended up with his girl. I think Im gonna go find him and remind him of that. Thats pretty funny...Well later babe!"
"Later." Dani said still holding the little airplane in her hand. "Ok fine." she thought to herself. "Ill talk to him!"

Hey Nsyncers!
Dani here again with the latest news. First of all I wanna clear up any rumors that are out there. No, Joey does NOT have green hair now. That was just another one of the pranks. This one was the doing of Evil Mr. Timberlake himself. But I think the prank wars have died down for now. Or at least I hope :).
Ok OK! Justin is beside me playing Playstation and he keeps waving at the laptop so Everyone, Justin says..HIIIII EVERYBODY!!!! I luv YAS! MUAH!!..ok that was Justi asdka; who cxzcz wont stop [][opopa PUSHING THE KEYS asdf!!@ Ok! Finally. He quit! See what I have to put up with? Anyway we're headed towards Vegas right now to do a show there and some appearences I believe. I can only imagine what all I'll have to tell after a weekend in Vegas with these guys! Well, Keep me in your prayers! :) hee hee. Cyall!

"Justin no Im awful at video games."
"I know thats why I want you to play!" He said laughing.
"And Chris always beats me."

"Ugh ok just pick the one I suck at the most why dont ya?"
"I will." he smiled as he put in the game.

"Yeah?" Justin said concentrating on the screen.

"Ok how bout like that?" he said laughing

"Or like this..or that..." He said laughing making his car run into hers.

"Ok ok Im sorry...Ill stop. What were you going to tell me?"
"Nothing now."

"Ok. Well can I ask you a hypothetical question?"
"My favorite kind. yeah shoot."
"Ok" Dani said taking a deep breath and trying to figure out where to begin. "Allright say you had a dream about someone..."
"Uh huh."
"And well...it was a nice dream..."
"Yeah?" Justin said raising his eyebrows.
"Anyway.."Dani said ignoring him. "anyway, You start realizing how much you like this person..."
"Ok so is this strictly a physical attraction?"
"Well, no..I dont think, No no it isnt."
"Ok."
"Why?"
"Just wanted to get all the facts straight..go on continue."
"Well there really isnt much more too say I mean, Since I had that dream Ive realized that I have started to like that, ummm person more than I did.."
"Whoa wait I thought this was hypothetical."
"It is."

"I did?"
"Yep."
"Oh well anyway.."
"Dani?"
"yeah?"
"Just tell, whoever it is, how you feel about them."

"You got to have confidence in yourself and just walk up to them and be like..." Justin turns his baseball cap over to one side. "Ay yo baby them's some nice sneakers...Wanna go out?" He crosses his arms and starts nodding his head to one side like the guy in the Offspring video. Dani is practically in tears from laughing so hard.
"See thats all you gotta do!"
"Do I have to act like that too?"
"Yeah!" He said smiling and placing the hat on her head sideways.
"See you can pretty fly too jus like me!..No but seriously Dani, You dont have anything to worry about. Any guy that youre interested in would have to be crazy to not feel the same way."
"Yeah but what if they dont?"
"Thier loss." He said winking at her as he got up. "Well I think Im gonna turn in for the night...Just remember what I said, Be confident thats all there is to it, k sweetie?"
"Okay."

"Goodnight Justin."
Dani took his UNC baseball cap off her head and stared at it. They were going to be in Vegas for the next couple of days. There was no telling what was going to happen then.
