Chapter 11
Dani and Alyssa walked backstage and Alyssa was instantly taken in by all the excitement. She was dragging Dani around the room like a little kid in a toy store. Dani was beginning to feel sick.
"Lyss, stop, can we go sit down or something.."
"Oh my Whoa..., wait who is that?" Alyssa said stopping in her tracks.
"Who?"
"Dont tell me thats an Nsync boy."
"Who Lyssa WHO?"
"The dude with the red hair!"
"Uhh Yeah. Lyss, thats Joey."
"Joey?"
"Superman freak."
"OH! oh? really? dang what happened?"
"Umm well, He dyed his hair."
"Dani you KNOW how I am about guys that dye thier hair weird colors!"
"I do?"
"YES! Now come on, introduce me!"
"Dont worry Lyssa he's coming over here."
"What? What am I gonna do?? What am I gonna do?"
"Danigirl!! Hey!" Joey said running over to them and giving Dani a hug. "How ya been, We've missed you!"
"Been great, missed you guys too."
"Who's your friend?"
"Joey this is Alyssa, Alyssa..Joey." Dani introduced them as they shook hands.
"Very nice to meet you Alyssa."
"oh same here." Alyssa said smiling as she and Joey stood there in a daze.
'Great, Ive lost her for the rest of the night.' Dani thought to herself.
"Hey, well I think Im gonna let you two get to know each other a little better and go say hi to the others ok?"
"Ok." they both said together.
"Geez." Dani walked off and got her something to drink at the caterer's table. She looked across the crowded room and saw a man with short brown hair waving at her.
'Do I know him? I guess I do since he's waving at me..oh well.. Dani waved back and then noticed there were people behind her. 'Crap! He's probably waving at someone behind me. Ok now Im an idiot...And he's coming over here...Can this night end already??'
"PUDDIN POP!!!!!"
"Chri..CHRIS?? Oh my god I didnt even know it was you! What happened??"
"I cut it Dani." he said laughing. "What you dont like it??"
"No no no no, It looks great! Wow its just so diffrent."
"I know. I decided that i needed a change ya know?"
"Yeah I...oh, Oh no."
"Dani what's wrong? Why are you holding your stomach?"
"Lyssa, she was right. Oh no."
"Lyssa?"
"My friend. She came with me."
"Is she the girl with..."
"Joey. Yes. Anyway we made a bet on whether or not you cut your hair."
"Uh oh..you lost huh?"
Dani nodded her head.
"What did you lose?" Chris said laughing.
"Oh I didnt lose anything..."
"Daniiii..." Lyssa said coming up to them along with Joey.
"Yes Lyssa."
"Look who got a haircut Dani!"
"I know lyss I KNOW..."
"Yay! So when we gonna go do it??"
"Hey wait, do what?" Chris asked again
"I have to get my belly button pierced." Dani mumbled.
"Lyssa's gettin her's pierced too." Joey said smiling. Dani and Chris looked at each other and rolled thier eyes.
"C'mon Joey, You were supposed to introduce me to an Albino!"
"JOEY!" Chris shouted.
"What??" Joey said laughing while being pulled away by Alyssa.
"Hey! You havent met Andi have you?" Chris said
"Andi? No who's that?"
"Andrea, she's my..girlfriend"
"Girlfriend? Wow has everything changed?" Dani said laughing.
"Umm well." Chris began staring at the floor.
"I guess you could say that...But ummm..Hey come on I want you to meet her. She's a model!"
"A model? ' Ok who is this and what have they done with Chris? A MODEL??'
"Yeah she was doing a photo shoot next to ours about a month ago. And JC's dating her friend, Vanessa."
"Is she a model too?"
"Uh huh." Chris said as they walked across the room. Dani started to ask him about Justin when,
"There she is. Andi, come here a second!"
Andrea walked up to them with a huge smile on her face. She definatly looked like a model. She had long, straight blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Dani began to feel even sicker.
"You must be Dani! Hi Im Andrea."
"Nice to meet you Andrea."
"You too. Ive heard so much about you from Chris and the others! You know they really seem to miss you alot. All I ever hear is Dani Dani Dani..."
"Or Puddin Pop...cant forget that." Chris said.
They stood there and talked for awhile. Dani was glad to see that Chris was so happy. Andrea seemed like a nice person.Dani couldnt believe that she thought she would be a snob. She was extremely friendly, she didnt seem snobby at all. And it was obvious that Chris really cared about her.

"So.." Dani said after they had been standing there conversing a while. "How's Jus..."
"DaNIIIIII" JC said coming up behind her. "How's my lil buddy?"
"Umm doin fine Skipper." Dani said laughing. "I heard you've been doing good."
"True dat..true dat..." JC said smiling. "Dani meet Vanessa, the woman who stole my heart."
"JC stop." Vanessa said laughing while Chris and Andrea made gagging noises.
"Pleasure to meet you Dani, Ive heard alot about you."
"Nice to meet you too, All good I hope?"
"Oh yeah definatly. The guys love you like a little sister."
"Yeah so...Ok what happened when I left? Cupid invaded the tour bus?"
"Yeah and I think he hit somebody somewhere besides his heart..." Chris mumbled.
"What Chris?"
"Uhh nothing Dani. No Lance is still single and Well..Joey is..you know.."
"Yeah I know, Joey...So what about..." Chris and JC started giving each other worried glances.
"Umm Dani.."
"Whoa who is that? Britney Spears the sequal??" Dani said laughing.
"Umm no Dani.." JC said trying to keep from laughing. "That..Thats Ellie."
Dani felt her heart stop beating...THAT is Ellie?? Oh dear God let it be a rumor! "I think Im gonna be sick."
"So you know about..."
"About the rumor?"
"Umm no not about the rumor." Chris said. They then looked over and saw Ellie with her arms wrapped around Justin kissing him.
"Ok..do they not care that theyre in public??" Dani said trying to avoid the million thoughts in her head.
"Justin doesnt seem to care too much about anything nowadays." JC said shrugging his shoulders.
"Well...he looks happy I guess."
"He's not happy." Chris said shaking his head.
"He can act all he wants. I know he's not happy with her." He said as they saw Justin and Ellie walk over to them.
"Hey guys I think we're gonna start here in a few.." Justin said to Chris and JC.
"Oh. Hey Dani."
"Hello Justin."
"Have you met Ellie?"
"Nope cant say that I have."
"Ellie this is Dani, she keeps up our webpage for us."
"Oh like..cool! Thier page looks so nice and stuff."
"Thanks." Dani said staring at the gum-chomping ditz in front of her. Keeps up thier Webpage?? KEEPS UP THIER WEBPAGE?? WHY YOU LITTLE...."
"Well I guess we should head on out. Nice seeing you again Dani."
"Yea..you too." Dani stared at them as they walked off hand in hand.
"And jealousy reared its evil head..." Chris said laughing.
"Oh Chris trust me...I am not jealous."
"Thats good."
"I mean I could go buy me some of those too if I had the money and lost all my brain cells." Dani said as they all started laughing.
"Ah well, dont let it bother you too much kid. This will pass...Just like all the others."
"Its not bothering me Chris..." Dani said as Andrea smiled at her sympathetically.
"He can do better than that..." she said. "Hey why dont you and your friend come sit with me and Vanessa during the show?"
"Ok."
"We'll see you guys later." Vanessa said placing a kiss on JC's cheek as the girls left to take their seats.
